Kind of surprising to find that it does work. It's a pleasant softening, and my hair stays clean. Most noticeable is that it softens my skin, and keeps it moist, which is a big plus. I never like conditioners (nor hair creams) because they left too much on my hair. This is sort of two-steps-in-one, with no noticeable residue, just softness. And it smells great, if you like coconut. Not a soapy feel, but it does lather up.

Love the smell and how it keeps my hair in good condition. Not a fan of the conditioner, but love the shampoo!

I'm very pleased with the Shea Moisture shampoos. I've tried several and they are all high quality shampoos. They don't use the cheap chemical that are so bad for you. They smell good but not too strong.

I’ve always had thin hair with a lot of shedding. I switched to this after getting a free sample at Sam’s club and my hair has never been so healthy! I went from washing every day to once a week and my hair is thicker and way more easy to brush then ever before! Try it (or don’t so there’s more for me!)

Smells great, but not really sutable for ALL hair types like advertised. Leaves naturally straight hair with a slightly greasy feel. It moisturizes well when used occasionally but not good for frequent use on thin or straight hair.

This has to be the most moisturizing shampoo EVER! I have starter locs and this worked great. It didn’t strip my hair at all.
