My daughter said it was useful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a rather thin intro guide to the ACT / Pre-ACT with only 1 practice exam: the April 2018 ACT. *by B***Y on February 12, 2020* I'm a Harvard grad, ACT perfect 36 scorer, test preparation expert, and private ACT tutor since 2002, as well as the founder of the r/SATACTprep subreddit, with over 3,000 subscribers and growing (and over one million pageviews per year). For $22, The Official Beginner's Guide for ACT 2020-2021 is a little thin, and is overpriced for only having one practice exam--it's basically a brief intro to the ACT, followed by a single paper ACT practice test. The practice exam (Form20MC7) is the same as the April 2018 ACT Form A09. Purchase of this book also comes with free access to a Pre-ACT online practice exam, but unfortunately it is not a new exam: it is Form 17A, which has been available online for approximately the last 2 years.
