Clue by Clue: Carmen Sandiego

My eleven year old loved the series and really enjoyed the book too. An easy read that he couldn't put down. The recipe at the back is a lovely addition and we've made it a few times.

My daughter loves it

cool that this book come with a decoder so the reader can try to help Carmen solve the mystery. From fighting Tigress in the jungle to scubaing through a sunken city Carmenn tries to stay one step ahead of the V.I.L.E to the buried treasure. The story is fast pace and the plot grabs hold of your attention and don't wishes to let go.

This book was given to a 9 year old for a long haul flight. He loved it. The "clue wheel" was a great addition to interacting with the book. He had fun working out the clues with a younger brother. I would highly recommend this fun book. Kept everyone interested in the story clue by clue.

Nice lost episode

"Clue by Clue (Carmen Sandiego)" by Catherine Hapka is a good fun read for young readers. A young reader in our family enjoyed this entry of the Carmen Sandiego canon.The plot revolves around a treasure hunt which is always fun. It will, of course, include a map and pirate lore and a trip to the Caribbean. Even if the ingredients are familiar, it doesn't keep it from being a fresh story for readers. Carmen is needed to help crack the code.The decoder wheel is a nice inclusion for the young readers but so is the Jamaican Jerk recipe and the brief history of Tortuga. There's even a list of facts about the Tower of London. All in all, it is good adventure story featuring a familiar face, with some nice extras thrown in.
