Really nice projector
The media could not be loaded. I like how clean and crisp the picture quality is, wish it could be used in a room with abit more ambient light. There are very few apps to choose from on lg store. I cant install disney+ app as the store needs updating and it wont update, there are no apps for catch up. Its a lovely projector but very basic.

Great entry-level 4K projector with limitations
Pros: Excellent detail and colour for 4K HDR movies. Fantastic remote control. Quiet. Optical and eArc audio connections available. Compact and very smart little unit. WiFi connectivity.Cons. Needs very precise placing to ensure perfect picture alignment as there is no lens shift. LG OS cannot currently be updated (confirmed with LG) so some apps such as Disney Plus can’t be installed as they are incompatible with this older version. The official brightness rating is probably a little optimistic and really needs a very dark room to benefit. No upscaling of 1080p content which can sometimes look soft. The different inbuilt picture modes all look either washed out or far too vivid to my eye other than the default ‘standard’ mode.Overall this little little projector is perfect for my needs, but may not work for you given the limitations. I had an optimal mounting point aligned exactly with the top centre of my screen but even then I can’t get a millimetre-perfect picture alignment due to the lack of lens shift feature. I run my Apple TV through a Denon x6700h amp which upscales 1080p content and means I don’t have to use the inbuilt OS to watch content, so haven’t got to worry about the OS not being compatible with increasing numbers of apps, or the lack of inbuilt upscaling. If you want a cheap 4K projector for a dark room and can live with its limitations then I can recommend this unit, however if you intend to rely on the inbuilt apps (many new apps are incompatible with the projectors OS), need lens shift for picture alignment, have a lot of ambient light in your room, or intend to watch a lot of 1080p or lower content you may want to consider a different option.

Great budget 4k projector
Replaced from Xgimi halo and we are really happy with it so far. The speaker is a joke but image quality is really good!

So disappointing and I waited so long :(
I watched the warehouse for 2 years to get one at the right price. Finally I had one on my ceiling......Slight shadow on the bottom right but I could live with that. Most films are in a letterbox anyway.Fast forward 5 weeks and that shadow is almost right across the screen and 4" high. Killing me to send it back for repair but I have to.It's not dust either. When I flip the screen using the remote it remains at the bottom. It is opaque and you can still see the picture. But it's 4K and should be perfect.I hope they can fix it but I doubt it.I have had loads of projectors and this was to be "The One". Gutted!EDIT: Sent it for repair and almost three weeks have passed and it's back. Note inside box says NO fault found.I quickly set the projector up on the kitchen blind and the shadow has gone. It must have been dust I thought, and they just cleaned it. Put it back up on the ceiling and it is still there. I then noticed that the default Keystone is not Zero as you'd expect but -2. When I set it from Zero to -2 it goes. Will be sticking with it there is nothing else out there for the price I paid.

Not bad
Auto keystone can be better. Because I do move around a lot. Need adjust manually every time.

OK but lacking wire length
Good picture but it is impossible to ceiling mount because the wire is for too short

Very good picture and integration, inconsistent focusing for the price.
My setup: Source: LG HU70LS, Mount: Onkron K3A, Main Sound: LG SK9Y soundbar, Rear Sound: LG SPK8-S, Screen: Matt black wall with painted 16:9 ratio screen in Dulux Grey Steel 2 matt. Connection: 8K capable 10m HDMI cable from projector to soundbar. This unit needs mounting to the exact centre of the screen, as there is no lens shift - I chose to mount this on the rear wall, which is appx 3.5m from the screen. Room is appx 4m x 3.5m. I would advise spending time mounting the unit as accurate as possible so that no keystone correction is required. Here are the negatives I have found:1) Screen cannot be uniformly focused because if you focus thetop and middle then the bottom third is slightly out of focus, and vice versa. I assume this is due to the quality of the lens.2) I cannot choose the region I live (Ireland) as the unit responds with “unable to load user agreements” for any apps. So I have to change region to UK, and lose access to local appssuch as RTE Player. Sounds like an LG server issue, still discussing this with them.3) It’s not really suitable for daytime/outdoor viewing due to average brightness levels but changing picture to "vivid" mode helps a little. Just treat it as a projector for darkened rooms.4) The black levels are OK but could be better, here a bespoke/grey screen will help.5) The “sports mode” picture setting made footballslook like strobing UFOs. Horrible.6) Disney app shows in content store but wont run due to the software version on the unit. And the positives:1) Picture quality is B+, very good, with natural colour, no rainbow effect, and decent contrast. 4K picture is impressive.2) HDR does add perhaps 10% extra brightness and while it's not OLED TV level HDR it’s certainly better than not having any HDR at all.3) Unit fan noise is not too intrusive, you hear it in really quiet moments but it's not distracting to us.4) Using “game mode” for sports (football) and increasing the brightness and contrast did the trick – the footballs look like footballs now!5) Very family friendly because of the built in apps like Prime, YouTube, Rakuten TV. Using Disney app via Chromecast Ultra for now, until OS is updated.5) Integration with LG sound: one press of the LG backlit remote turns on/off the projector which inturn activates the SK9Y soundbar and rear surrounds, so it's very simple to use. Everything works via the single projector remote. In summary, I would say that the lack of accurate focusing is the biggest letdown here, and this leads me to conclude that the unit I received is overpriced, and is worth appx £1000. However, if you have the patience to accurately align the unit and can forgive the focusing issue (which is only really noticeable on credits) then you may be happy with it. Overall I'm happy enough.3 stars -- loses a star for focusing, loses half star for price, loses half star for outdated software.
