Ok, displays some pictures wrong
This frame worked fine, but when I updated it by putting some new pictures, for some reason, I had several which were displayed incorrectly by the digital frame. Pictures would be improperly rotated, either 90 or 180 degrees. That is not how the original pictures are formatted. I had a picture that was being shown upside down, so I went into photoshop and flipped the picture upside down and put it back in the frame thinking it would flip back my already flipped picture, and it STILL looked the same. I got this frame for free from my work place, but given the unreliability of this device I would not personally recommend buying it.

Wonderful frame, if you can get it on sale!!
I can't add much more than D. Troung already covered, but I will go ahead and add my two cents.First of all, I was able to buy mine at Best Buy for only $29.99, which I feel is the appropriate price for this product. I would have been very disappointed if I had paid $79.99-you can get a similar frame from Waterford crystal for only $25 more!It is very nice looking with a dark "wood" frame with a thick cream colored matte. The picture area is also matte, so you wont get a glare from overhead lights. It can also be used as a digital clock by pressing one button on the back. It comes with a nifty remote which made set up simple. For only a couple dollars more, I added a 4gb memory card and have now enough room for probably a thousand pictures! It also has a USB port which made loading photos a breeze.I recently purchased a photo scanner and have stored hundreds of my parents old pictures onto my computer. With a little editing, I'll be ready to download these into the frame just in time for Christmas. I think my folks are going to be the talk of their retirement home with their new fancy photo frame! This is a great digital photo frame, just make sure you buy it on sale!

good lil frame
Good little digital frame for the money. I picked mine up at bestbuy for $33 - includes a remote & usb cable.A couple nice features is that it auto sizes photos down so that they display correctly and black bars the sides if it's a portrait style pic.Concerning the response that this is difficult to use... for who? The options are limited and self explanatory... it auto scrolls thru photos on your sd card... and has an off/on button. If u cannot set ur vcr *laugh* clock... dont buy this.It has onboard memory - almost 100mb. Not a lot... but enough to get u started... so pick up a cheap sd card.Bought this for fathers day, hubby loves it! Only issue ive had are with some portrait pics displaying sideways - so I just resaved them in the correct orientation and reinserted the sd card - fixedOverall - good lil frame for the cash.

Nice for the money but Mac users beware!
It is a great basic digital photo frame with various transition options. The display is clear and bright. My wife loves it!There are some issues if you have a Macintosh. The picture frame comes up as an unrecognizable device when attaching it via the included USB cable. I tried to reformat the internal memory (128MB) as MS-DOS format (since that would be the more "universal" format) and it still did not recognize the device.I ended up copying photos to an extra USB Flash Drive that I had lying around and attaching the flash drive to the USB port in the back of the frame. This ended up being a better option since the memory stick is 2GB. I copied 1,000 photos at the frame resolution of 800 pixels wide and that only took up 630MB. At that rate I can copy over appx. 2,500 more photos to the flash drive.

Pretty Nice Gadget *BUT*
*UPDATE* We returned the VistaQuest unit because it would heat up and pictures would be blurry and pretty much useless. The picture frame would also lock up. We returned it and instead picked up a Phillips 10.1" and so far so good. We were very disappointed with the VistaQuest. My sister in law bought the same VistaQuest model for $30 on black Friday and to our knowledge she's had no problems. This new Phillips will give my mom-in-law lots of pleasure. Figures crossed because we're sending it to Colombia, South America so it's not like we have the ability to return it.
