Totally worth it.
I wasn’t going to write a review for this. However, after seeing all the negative ones I thought I would weigh in. I bought this for my 3 year old who loves Ryan. When she saw the egg she squealed with delight “Ryan surprise giant mystery egg!” The outter egg did have a crack in it. I really didn’t care. We spent a good hour taking everything apart. She had to look at every single thing first. That’s part of the joy of this toy. It’s like a holiday for a kid. They have all of these little presents to open. Then this very magical unheard of thing happened. My adhd toddler sat and played. She played by herself for a good two hours. She was elated to find her favorite Ryan’s world characters. On to the nitty gritty. The toys themself are well made. They are a decent size. Nice sturdy plastic. The range of motion on them is a bit limited. I would compare them a bit to LEGO people or imaginex characters. However, their little hands can actually hold their little accessories. They are also interchangeable. The characters actually fit in the vehicle. We received the combo van. This had multiple other doors and such that could be opened and played with. She takes these toys everywhere with her. To the potty in the tub outside. She is a rough toddler. They have been through heck and back and there is no evidence of damage on them. She plays with these every single day. The putty had a nice consistency, no funny smell. It immediately ended up on my couch. It peeled right up with no residue or sign of damage. I think the squishy toy might be her favorite part. She has stretched that poor thing beyond stretch Armstrong limits and it has not broken or leaked, which I am actually surprised about. The eggs are, well eggs. Plain old plastic eggs. They do the job. So for everyone saying it’s over priced and not worth it. What really are you looking for in value? Value to me is a toy my child loves, that is safe, that she will actually play with as opposed to trying to be on a screen. This ticks all the boxes. I could easily spend $40 taking her to chuckie cheese to keep her entertained for an hour. If your child is a Ryan fan, they will love this toy. I absolutely would and likely will purchase more of these.

Great for kids but unbelievably cheap, poor quality control
My 5 year old loves Ryan and doesn’t care about the quality of the toys. I literally played with her for hours. From an adults perspective, (which doesn’t really matter I guess) for the money, $39, I’ve never seen quality this cheap in my life. All the toys should be compatible, meaning the holes under the feet should fit the vehicles and they don’t. My daughter got an “ultra rare” illusionist Ryan and the wand doesn’t even fit the hands to hold it. She also got the mecha robo and my god the head is so loose, it falls off every time she touches it. For the amount of money this kid is making, I expected a lot more quality control than this.

Christmas or bday gifts
Great fun to open

Overpriced and poor quality.
Got this for my daughter and she loves it, because it's Ryan. For what this thing cost you'd expect it to be decent. The accessories for the characters don't fit or are too loose so they fall off. The holes in the feet aren't big enough for the ambulance which I'll fix with a drill bit. For me, it's not worth half of what I paid for this but a 3 year old doesn't care.

Most anticipated gift!
My son just turned 7. He loves Jurassic World and Ryan's World anything. The Giant Mystery Egg was a huge hit. His younger brother, 3, cried mercilessly until he was granted a couple capsules to open. I do think this gift is over priced; 1 vehicle, 5 capsules containing actual toys but 1 capsule contains stickers/tattoos and 1 containing slime. Not really a deal since it is cheaper to buy these toys individually. However, the pure joy that this novelty item enticed in everyone present made the price acceptable.

Worth it in spite of other reviews
I'm so glad I ignored the negative reviews. My daughter is nine and has special needs, Ryan is her favorite YouTube star. I've purchased multiple "surprise egg" products before this so I had an idea of what to expect.I was not anticipating the size of the vehicle after multiple reviews called it tiny. It is about 5 inches long, with a small seat inside for the four or five figures to sit in. It's plastic, but looks like it can take a beating for awhile. The figures are all cute little things, each has a small accessory such as a sword for the pilot and a trophy for the racecar driver. The slime/putty is typical of other market slime, if you don't trust your kid to mix up their own with glue and contact solution, don't let them play with it alone because it WILL stain and it WILL stick to things like carpet or couches. You have been warned. My daughter loved everything about it and is happily pushing around the racecar driver in her little blue jeep type vehicle as we speak. I wouldn't suggest the full cost of $60, but well worth the sale price of around $30.
