When plugged in it modified temp correctly
The standard temp on the epever controller is set at 25° when I fitted this the display changed to the actual 11° it was hopefully will protect my batteries and maximise the charge.

Good cable length
It's important for your charge controller to know the temperature of your battery, whatever chemistry it might be. There's a good length of cable on it which was important in my installation.
