I used this to hang a heavy mirror from the wall, and to hang a shop air cleaner from the ceiling in my basement workshop. Tip: it works better to use a slow speed grinder or a file to cut the wire, rather than snips. That way the ends are not frayed, and you can still get a crimp onto the cut end.

I chose this wire because it was a bit thicker and also included the clamps to make end loops. I hung 100 feet of string lights using this wire and it worked great, much better value than the "hanging kits" that come with 25 feet of wire and a bunch of useless hardware.The D-ring screws with a bit tiny for what I needed, but since it's "picture frame hanging wire"it makes sense, not a big deal.Very heavy duty thickness, I'm confident it will hold everything up just fine.

I needed to hang a 50lb mirror. It worked fine. Your daddy's plier will not work to cut the wire or to close the wire crimping sleeve. You'll need a bolt cutter of at least 2mm cutting hard wire (i used the same cutter to seal the sleeve) it holds up.My only issue. I get that people return items, but can you at least ship your items in a new box? The box was opened and ripped and the wire was poorly wrapped with seran wrap and sloppily spooled.

PROS- good value for small spool of wire, prob hang 20+ large pieces of art- strong AF , prob could garrote someone with it, but don't.CONS- need a tool to cut, its strong stuff, don't use your teeth. use 7" channellock 357

Bought this to hang a heavy large print. A bit too thick but missed return window. Didn’t need the other items that came with it
