K-Slim

I don't typically write reviews, especially for something as trivial as a coffee maker, but this was an interesting journey. I had an ancient, by comparison, Keurig B55 that most resembles the "Classic" model they offer currently. Probably going on 11 years, it finally died. Up until that point, this portion of my counter was basically a coffee station, forcing me to do all my kitchen prep to the right of the stove, keeping the shrine to caffeine unadulterated. I was stunned at all the variants of the Keurig line. It's almost dizzying and makes it nearly impossible to choose one. Some quick googling showed 60+ models, most of which are still sold. Do I need 5 cup sizes (5oz - 14oz)? How about a "strong" setting? Does it do anything? A screen? Or a timer? Or a larger reservoir? What about no reservoir? Seriously, the paradox of choice here is maddening. Having come from a "screened" maker in my previous model, I ended up opting for the K200 model. This one is about 3" less wide that my previous maker, so that was nice. Unfortunately, it had a few issues that I simply could not work around. - The reservoir is U-shaped and honestly very awkward to negotiate both from a refilling and removing perspective. Especially if it's under a cabinet, and you want to refill from a refrigerator water dispenser, as I do. - The coffee was simply not hot enough. Not sure if I got a bum unit, or that's how it is, but it was significantly less hot than what I was used to. - No auto shut-off. Seriously. I thought this was a basic in coffee makers. This, probably the biggest deal-breaker of them all, though, mildly hot coffee was a close second. Enter the K-Slim. I was skeptical because the reviews were, pun intended, no so hot. But the price was right, and I really liked the idea of a sub five-inch width coffee maker on my countertop. This model only has 3 cup sizes, but has the same 40oz reservoir as the K200. Even better, it's a simple rectangle design that I can maneuver easily to and fro my fridge. Having the extra counter space has been such a nice benefit. But moreso, the coffee is hot and, so far, the machine reliable. What I like: - The coffee (Caza Trail Cona Blend) is as hot and tastes as good, possibly even stronger, than my old model - Auto Shut-Off! Unit turns off after 5 minutes of last brew. That might seem aggressive but... - Really fast water heat-up time. I was really amazed. From off to coff(ee) was only a minute or two, obviating the need for a clock/timer function. - Easy/obvious to use, and I really like the "level" drop in hole for the k-cup. All my others were at an angle for some reason. - Amazingly diminutive size for the countertop reclaim. What I don't like: - Maybe one smaller cup size? But that's it. Really happy so far with this unit. Hoping it lasts me as long as the last one did.

I’ve been very happy with this Keurig K-Slim coffee maker. It doesn’t take up much counter space, making it perfect for smaller kitchens, and it’s incredibly easy to use. The coffee brews quickly, which is great on busy mornings when I need a cup before heading out. It has been reliable, convenient, and consistently makes a good cup of coffee. Overall, it’s a great machine for anyone looking for a simple and space-saving coffee maker.

We bought this KEURIG to be able to take it on vacation. We wanted to avoid paying for expensive coffees. ☕️ This worked perfectly, let me tell you. It was nice and slim and fit nicely onto the provided desk in the motel. We had coffee when ever we wanted it. I very happy with our purchase of this machine.

I loved this machine - fits perfectly on my small countertop. Brews almost instantly, But after a year, it just stopped working. It was heating up, and then, nothing. No lights, no nothing. I am very disappointed.

The 46oz reservoir? Genius! I fill it up once and brew like a boss for days— no more awkward mid-morning refills where I spill water everywhere and question my life choices. It’s removable, so cleaning is a breeze; just pop it out, rinse, and boom, back to caffeinated bliss. And that scarlet red color? It’s not just red—it’s scarlet, darling, like a fire engine had a love child with a cherry popsicle. It screams “I’m awake and fabulous!” every time I glance at it, perfectly complementing my purple marble-swirl mug and that bottle of Madhava agave nectar chilling nearby for when I want to sweeten things up organically. Brewing is ridiculously fast—insert a K-cup (shoutout to those Kona Blend pods that taste like a Hawaiian vacation in a cup), hit the button, and in under a minute, you’ve got piping hot perfection. No grounds to mess with, no filters to forget—it’s foolproof for us mere mortals who can’t be trusted with a French press without turning the kitchen into a crime scene. Plus, it’s quiet; no obnoxious grinding noises to wake the neighbors or scare my elderly dog. Honestly, this Keurig has elevated my daily ritual to epic levels. As the little note next to it says, “Today’s Good Mood IS Brought to you by Coffee”—truer words were never scribbled! If coffee makers had fan clubs, I’d be president, treasurer, and chief cheerleader for this bad boy. Five stars? Nah, make it ten—it’s that life-changing. If you’re on the fence, jump off and buy one; your future self (and your mood) will thank you with jazz hands. ☕🔥

My previous Keurig K-Slim worked reliably for years, which is why I bought another one when it finally died. The first brand-new replacement repeatedly said “Add Water” even though the reservoir was full. I returned it. The second brand-new K-Slim began doing essentially the same thing within about six hours. On one brew, I selected 10 ounces. It dispensed only about 2 ounces and stopped, claiming it needed water. After some coaxing, it dispensed another couple of ounces and stopped again. I then selected an 8-ounce brew, expecting another partial cycle, and instead it suddenly dispensed the full 8 ounces into a cup that already contained coffee, nearly overflowing it with hot liquid. Later it brewed normally again. Removing the reservoir and manually operating the valve at the bottom also seemed to restore normal operation temporarily. That unpredictability is the problem. A new coffee maker should not alternate between falsely reporting that it has no water, producing partial cups, and then suddenly producing a full programmed amount. After this happened to me twice, I searched online and found other K-Slim owners describing similar false Add Water warnings, partial brews, reservoir reseating, valve manipulation, and water-flow problems. That does not prove every K-Slim has this problem, but after two consecutive new machines did it to me, those similar reports are difficult to dismiss as simple coincidence. I actually like the K-Slim design. The narrow footprint and reservoir are almost perfect for my kitchen. If it worked reliably, I would happily recommend it. Unfortunately, reliability is not an optional feature. Suggestion to Keurig: Use the same AI-assisted search tools consumers now have and examine owner reports across major retailers, forums, and support discussions. Search specifically for K-Slim false “Add Water” warnings, partial brewing, reservoir problems, and water-flow issues. There is enough material out there to deserve a serious look. Based on my experience with two new units exhibiting substantially the same malfunction, I cannot recommend the current K-Slim. One star.

After a mixup in colors I wanted white the seller made everything right and it works great!
