Ridiculously strong
"Overkill" is the word I would use to describe this wire, 100%. It's very strong material, and the coating lasts a good long time. UV from the sun will ultimately get to the plastic coating at some point, but even at high altitude, it doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon. I use these to tie down bush branches so they spread out horizontally rather than vertically, but it's so strong that I'm sure you could keep small trees tethered in place with it no problem. If you're looking for a "heavy duty" wire, this one is the one.

Basically what I expected, maybe even better. I haven't used it long, so I can't comment on durability, but it seems sturdy and was very easy to use.
