I bought this for my husband to keep on him--he has Parkinson's and has had a number of falls. Having his phone connected to his body will help contact me, whether in another part of the house or if I run an errand. We haven't had it long, but it looks fairly sturdy and was easy to attach under the phone case.

The lanyard is black cord with a adjustable link near where it connects to the phone and also at the end of the lanyard. It is long enough to wear around the neck and still put the phone in your pants pocket if you wish. Most important. No more lost phone

We bought these for the thermal bath party in Budapest Hungary and these things held up. They saved our butts numerous times when people started dunking everyone in the thermal baths. It was nice to have the ability to tighten it around my neck or make it looser if I needed too. Great price point and because of this product I still have a working phone that I used all throughout Europe!

My phone is a regularly-sized smartphone. Many pants pockets do not hold my phone securely. Even my kitchen apron doesn't work well if I bend over. The phone just drops out. My husband bought for me a belt-type case. No way! It feels like a growth on my hip. However, I needed something. I am 70 years old and have arthritis. I have experienced a lot of illness over the past few years. I don't use a walker, but my stability is something with which I have concern. I want to, at least, walk our sweet dog two or three times a day and spend time with him in the backyard. What if I break a hip and fall, or trip on a tree root? What if I can't make it to the house for my phone? What good is the phone on a countertop if I end up on the floor and can't reach it? This lanyard is great! My phone is always with me. The only downside is that it swings as I walk. I have banged the phone several times. So, I still wear the apron at home but the phone is secure and handy. I haven't had this long, so I can't say too much for the adhesive, but so far, so good. The lanyard is attractive. I have no problem connecting my phone to the charging cord. I read other reviews, so I placed the adhesive tab very close to the edge of the phone. The lanyard seems to be very sturdy, so we shall see for the future. I just know that I feel safer. I would, and probably will, buy again in a different color. So--four stars is good in my case.

I chose this for the flexible attachment to the phone. Otterbox Defender case has a two-piece hard plastic inner and a soft outer. Also it has a door over the charging port. There is a 'door frame' on the hard plastic inner case. This strap attachment is sticky-mounted to the hard inner case. It is thin and flexible enough to bend over the 'door frame'. Soft case fits over it. Port door still works. Photos show the phone with and without the soft case.The included hook and strap seems too bulky, makes it seem a bit like an old corded phone. I should have purchased the product version that has two phone attachments and no strap. i can make a small wrist strap with a shoe lace.

Being seniors my wife needed a way to carry her phone around. The small clip to attach the lanyard is hard to undo. Maybe a powerful magnetic twist connector would be better

Now I can stop looking for my phone in jacket pockets, , it's with me now and it's so handy, best quality.

I found my phone too heavy to wear around my neck comfortably. Also too much movement when wearing the phone.

Whoever designed this wasn't thinking straight The phone hangs off the bottom of the phone and all your bank cards. Anything they fall out I would not purchase this again
