I think the window boxes are good looking and sturdy, but didn't realize the finish wasn't all the way through. I noticed right away that some of the nice looking finish was broken off with only a silver looking metal showing through. Don't know how they will wear over time. Wish I had paid up and gotten wrought iron. I probably could have returned, but it wasn't worth the trouble to me.

Sturdy metal planter, pleased with the quality. Color of the metal is weathered copper/rust, not black as it appears in the product image. Expecting this from another review, I planned to paint the planter with black Rustoleum paint. Painting was very easy with a sponge brush. Without a primer, one coat produced a weathered-black finish. Two coats likely would have made the black opaque.

The design fits what I was looking for in a window box but it came all rusty and I don't know if I would call it wrought iron.

Very well built and very functional. Deep enough to hold lots of potting soil and retains moisture to ensure plants do not dry out.

Looks great and it is nice and sturdy too.
