Ordering any kind of makeup online is always kind of luck of the draw & can be very hitzor-miss. I can't tell you how many YEARS of tubes of truly expensive lipstick, lip plumpers, & lipgloss I currently have lying in drawers. Most of them are rejects due to the colors not being anything close to what was shown &/or described online. Others are rejects due to texture, scent, taste, dryness, consistency, staying power, or a myriad of other things I disliked. Around the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season, I decided to look for a nice red lipstick to match some of my red holiday outfits. Red is a color I very rarely, if ever, wear because they are usually either too dark, too bright, too blue/purple, turn orange on me, don't go with my hair & skin color or... 'bleed' into the small lines around my mouth which is, frankly, at my age (75) all too common. So when I ran across the Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick line & saw all the various colors AND at an amazingly low prices... I was overwhelmed! How could anyone possibly choose a *single* color? But then at those low prices (just over $1.25/tube), why should anyone decide to choose ONLY one!? I ended up choosing 6-7 different colors & my total bill was under $10!! WHAT!!...UNDER $10!??! NO WAY!!! That's a fraction of what I've paid for a single tube in the past, AND, the absolute BEST part? These WnW Silk Finish lipsticks are all phenomenal... wonderful creamy texture, it applies smoothly, it doesn't cake up & dry out on your lips, & doesn't dry my lips out once removed! The colors are beautiful (Cherry Frost, Pink Ice, & Fuschia On Past are my 3 favs!), stay true once applied, & have great staying power. I did reapply it after meals but... so what! While traveling out of town for the holidays, I forgot to pack my lipliner, which is almost always a requirement whenever I wear any red or darker lip colors. *Gasp... Disaster!!! But I found even the garnet red color stayed put on my mouth without immediately spreading into tiny mouth lines & looking all feathery! I can't begin to describe what a miracle that was! Yes, I highly recommend this brand of lipstick... great quality especially for these low prices!! BTW One Note>>> these lipsticks are not totally non-transferable but I've seen much worse! If leaving a faint lip print on a glass is a BFD to you, then this lipstick probably isn't going to work for you... but for quite a bit more money I'm sure you can find one that does.

Update: I also received the Fuchsia with blue line one and it is also pretty. I included a picture of that one you can see it is truly Fuschia. I like to change it up a bit, so try the ranges of pinks and reds I can find. I have been a fan of Wet and Wild lipsticks for a few years now. It's this particular line that is wonderful. The lipsticks are super creamy and mostly heavily pigmented. I have four of their shades now. This one is probably my new favorite - Hot Paris Pink. It is a pink red with blue undertones to help make teeth look whiter. I bleach my teeth regularly, so this helps enhance that. I offer to have a clean smile. The lipstick glides on smoothly and has no flavor or taste to it. Very easy to apply. It stays on a long time. I do reapply a few times habitually because it's a long generational habit for women in my family to always apply lipstick. I stick it in my bra and am ready to go. It is moisturizing and makes your lips feel hydrated and not dried out like other more matte lipsticks do. This is perfect and super inexpensive. I collect as many as I can of these.

This Wet n Wild Black Orchid lipstick honestly surprised me in a good way when it comes to application. It glides on incredibly smoothly, which I wasn’t expecting at all for a lipstick at this price point. It feels comfortable on the lips and doesn’t drag during application. The packaging is fine, but nothing special. It’s not as cute or eye-catching as some of Wet n Wild’s other packaging, but considering this is a very affordable lipstick, that’s not a deal breaker for me. The color was a little different than I expected. When I hear “Black Orchid,” I picture a very deep, dark shade. This one feels slightly lighter than that expectation — or maybe just not as dark as the name suggests. That said, it’s still a pretty color and looks nice once on. In terms of wear, it lasts a decent amount of time, but it does smudge, especially with eating or drinking. I wouldn’t rely on this as an all-day lipstick unless you plan to carry it with you for touch-ups. You’ll definitely want to be mindful of smudging throughout the day. Overall: smooth application, nice color, and great price. Just be aware of the smudging and the fact that the shade may not be as dark as the name implies. A solid budget-friendly lipstick as long as you manage expectations.

Love this lipstick. It's smoldering and blendable. Has some light glitter in it fyi. It lasts long enough although if you don't eat carefully it will rub off, obviously. It applies pretty well though personally I like to define on the arches and bottom lip but blend the rest of the lip line. So it really sinks in . Nice color but it's a hot garnet not a dark one.

I ordered this lipstick in the color Secret Muse when getting a few new lipsticks to update my makeup. It is by far the best $1 I have ever spent! I can't stop ogling over the multitone richness of the color, and I already ordered another one because I use it daily. I'd describe the color Secret Muse as vintage pink with just a hint of violet. It's gorgeous! The lipstick leaves my lips looking full and has just the right amount of shimmer. As the color begins to wear off, it leaves a quaint tint for quite a while, so the lips are not bare even between fewer touch-ups. The texture is rich and lush, but not sticky. I swear by this $1 lipstick over all the others I've had! Highly recommend.

This is a great lipstick and the color is beautiful. I can’t believe I only paid one dollar for this lipstick. I’m definitely going to buy more lipstick from this brand. What a terrific value I am very happy with my purchase.
