Ark Naturals, Gentle Digest, 60 caps

I found Gentle Digest like many people: surfing around Amazon and looking for a good value. Well, here's another story: I live on Cape Cod, and on a beach-marsh walk, my Springer Spaniel decided to chomp into a crab carcass that was in the reeds. The next day, intestinal issues: liquid poop, etc. The obligatory rice-and-chicken-breast meals followed, which helped - but there was still that fun, mucousy finish with a consistency of soft ice cream. I kept at it, but what usually takes a few days to kick, was still an issue after a month.Enter my purchase of Gentle Digest. Now everyone's story is unique, and I am not a vet - but I have good news and squishy news. The good news first: my dog's digestion was back to normal after giving him Gentle Digest on three staggered occasions over the course of two weeks. The squishy news is that it appears to me that although the "good bacteria" that are in Gentle Digest had a winning fight against the bad bacteria from the rotten crab, my dog still had to eliminate what was left on the battlefield. So after each meal with Gentle Digest, there was soupy #2 session which I assume was made up of defeated flora. Now, my dog is back to normal - and after close observation, I'd conclude that this product absolutely works.

Works for my older cat !!! He just turned 16 and has mild kidney disease. He was throwing up after eating.Since I've been giving him one/day, he has not thrown up - not even once.Didn't like it sprinkled on his food, so I just mix it in a little water and got a syringe from Walmart - just squirt it directly into his mouth each night before dinner. He used to resist me - not any more - he must know it's helping him, alot !

Helps my kitty with digestive isssues. I empty one capsule and mix with water; then, I stir in wet food and mix it all together. Works well for loose stools that he occasionally experiences.

I have a kitty with IBS-D. I sprinkled these on her food and while the corrected the problem after a month she refused to eat the food with it anymore. I don't know if it was the taste or what.

Gave to my dog along with Standard Process' Drenatrophin when he had severe allergies causing his ears to be inflamed and he would scratch them til they bled. Neither one of us was getting any sleep at night. After 3 days the itching stopped and after a week his ears stopped making all the brown gunk. I still give him one of each a day as a maintenance dose. He likes the chewables too.

Used this with another of my older cats for their inflammatory Bowel and Pancreatitis! Takes a few weeks to work as do most homeopathic blends but well worth it. It is very gentle as cat's have sensitive stomachs. It calms the intestines and bowel and helps the body clean out toxins and break down fats etc.

This is about the only product that stops my dogs gas when it gets bad. I dont use it reguarly, just for emergencies when we have guests over! I likve this product a lot!
