Best Cat Comics Ever
Our whole family loves this series. The book sparked a great obsession that had both kids creating their own comics and films based on the characters. Funny and lovely and cute!

So true. So true.
The dedicated journalists at Breaking Cat News have released another archive of their old broadcasts! Join them as they report on meteorology, being parents, life with an intern, bathroom adventures, how to deal with a screech owl, and more.I love these guys! I stumbled across them early last year and binged every comic strip online from the beginning in probably a week. I read their live broadcasts daily. And I enjoy them so much that I go buy their archives when they come out! Anyone who has cats will see their own cats in these stories. Some of the strange things I’ve seen in my cats, totally make sense now; they must have a news center somewhere set up around here! There are so many sweet, funny, lovable moments I can’t pick my favorite. Sometimes it’s just a face, or comment, or action in a panel. Beatrix is a great addition to the network. I love the slow motion fight. Elvis’s face on the last panel of his clingy day. Lupin’s naked adventures. I see the food protest near daily in my house! Puck and the hairbrush and the potty training sticker incident. Baba Mouse dealing with Beatrix. I could so go on. Way too many to pick from! Love! The only problem I find with the book, it ended. Can’t wait for the next!

Adorable and amusing!
I have followed this comic for years online as just a webcomic and then it was picked up by Gocomics, then actually went into print syndication. I was delighted to find them gathered into books. Told from the perspective of feline reporters, the strip looks at every day events with a fresh perspective. Early strips were longer; now they're in the newspaper format (i.e. four panels) but a narrative may continue through several strips. The art is watercolor which reproduces well in the books; the writing is delightful, but it's Dunn's little whimsical touches and attention to detail that move it to another level. You can start at any point, but having been around since the first I enjoyed watching the characters grow and change. (The art style has as well.) Although the books are marketed to middle schoolers, my friends and I all love them-- and we are all adults. Buy a copy for yourself or for your cat loving friends. I have given several copies of each as gifts.

The Only News I Want to Watch (read) is Breaking Cat News
I have been following the Breaking Cat News (BCN) comic since the early days, and the release of a new book and the chance to re-read old strips is always a joy. These comics are very gentle and sweet, and although they sometimes deal with difficult issues, they are handled in a really sensitive way. The books can be enjoyed by all ages. Although this is the 4th book in the series you don't have to have read the other ones to understand what is going on (but if you haven't read the other ones, you really should!)One of the great things about Georgia's books is that she includes bonus pages at the end with art activities and paper dolls of the characters, encouraging everyone to get in touch with their creative side and their playful side.

My only pre-order this year!
Georgia Dunn can do no wrong! I love every minute of every Breaking Cat News books. I had this book pre-ordered basically as soon as it was offered. This comic collection follows some of the adventures of the Cat News team, full of many different cats (and other animals) and their interpretation of what's going on in their world. It's such an accurate depiction of life with cats and shows the humor of everyday life when interpreted by cats. I love the art style; I love the stories. Basically, I love everything about Breaking Cat News and am always looking forward to every new strip.Thank you to NetGalley and Andrew McMeel Publishing for providing an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Another great BCN book.
It starts with the story of a small kitten with too many toes found in the void and ends with the Golden Mouse Saga, both fan favorites, with plenty of other great strips in between. It also includes one of my favorites, Sunday With Sophie, which was a special treat because it was a Sunday strip and normally there were only strips on Monday and Thursday at the time. It is a very sweet strip and a great reminder how a kind word can brighten someone's day. This is a book for cat lovers or all ages. Georgia's stories and paintings are full details, so take your time reading and looking at each strip.

Purrfect
Georgia has Dunn it again! This amazing continuation of the series is a must have for everyone. Do you read the web comic? Does this comic appear in your local paper? Do you own the other books? Do you have know idea what I’m talking about? If you answered yes to ANY of these questions, this book is for you! For both children and adults, the witty repartee and skillful use of color make this book a wonderful way to relax and laugh. Order it meow!

BCN Is My Favourite Comic; Read This to See Why
I don’t even pretend to be objective about Georgia Dunn’s brilliant Breaking Cat News comic; I am unabashedly in love with Puck, Elvis and Lupin, not to mention their friends and frenemies. This is the fourth collection of the comic strip (although oddly the blurb on the back cover cites it as the *third* even as the inside cover lists “Breaking Cat News,” “Lupin Leaps In,” and “Take It Away, Tommy!” as also in this series). Here, our intrepid reporters give us their take on the sudden Void outside (snow), The Man’s heroic venture out into the Void to rescue a freezing kitten with far too many toes (hello, Beatrix!) and the epic story of barn cat Baba Mouse and her early love, the not-to-be-trusted owl Wicket, among many other tales. As with the other books, this one closes with creative tips, this time on making your own wooden spoon dolls, how to report events in your own household and much, much more. Marketed to middle-grade readers, these comic strips are glorious to read and view at any age. Get ‘em all, and you too will fall in love with Georgia’s family, both of cats and people; super-highly recommended!

A great addition to the series
Further adventures of the BCN. This a compilation the original cartoons from several years ago. They are funny, witty and have immaculate artwork.
