Bought this, as it was marketed as washable. However, when I got it, the care instructions almost immediately recommend against washing at home (see pic). I have a newish, front-loading washer and dryer, and they could probably handle the blanket. But I just don't like when companies are shady. Sounds like this blanket is machine washable the same way a cashmere sweater is machine washable---You can do it if you want, but you really, really shouldn't.

Exactly what I was looking for! I live in Miami so I’ve always been looking for bedding that won’t capture too much heat or any at all. I’ve tried a bunch in the past but THIS IS IT. It’s truly light-weight and perfect to put inside a duvet. It lays pretty flat and isn’t puffy or thick. I just purchased all linen bedding and this comforter is absolutely made to be inside a duvet. The linen duvet I have has strings in the inside corners and THIS COMFORTER has little loops on the corners so the comforter can be tied to the duvet and never slide around. Genius! Maybe I’m new to the bedding world and missed this in the description, but It’s like it was meant for the duvet. (By the way, if anyone is in the same situation where you live in a hot climate or just have a high body temperature and need the right bedding, Primary Goods bedding is an all linen bedding set that literally does not trap heat whatsoever. Fluffy, heavenly linen that breaths and keeps you sleeping comfortably. Www.primarygoods.com ....you’ll thank me later.) Needless to say, it’s the only comforter/duvet insert I’d ever recommend to anyone needing something light, not too puffy or bulky, yet still keeps you cozy.

Sadly, I would not recommend this product to anyone. Upon getting the Quilted Comforter, I immediately noticed the quality of the product was very poor. The sewing was sloppy and there were several places on the comforter with severe thread bunching. Some of the thread bunching areas were not even sewn through all the way leaving the blanket to rip. I did take photos of the product with the intentions to return it, however I purchased this for a family member moving in my house and they had already arrived and needed bedding that day, leaving me no choice but to use it. I have ordered other bedding from Parachute and hope that it will be better constructed and last longer.I will say, I got the chocolate brown and sand color which was very pretty and the down fluff inside the blanket felt very comfortable. I am super bummed this product was not of high quality as I have always wanted to try LinenSpa.

UPDATE (several years later): This blanket is HOT. I loved it for the first year that I had it because it was so fluffy and toasty, and I lived in a very old, drafty apartment. But after a while I started to get way too hot sleeping under it. I would wake up completely soaking wet from sweating under it. I'd recommend this if you sleep with the AC blasting or if you live in a really cold climate, but definitely not as an all year comforter. It's good when the temp is low 50s or below, but if it's warmer, I can't use it. We used it for a couple years, so I feel like I got my money's worth. But if you're like me and you run hot at night, go for something lighter.I spent wayyyy too long researching comforters and trying to find the perfect one at a reasonable price. This one is the ONLY comforter I've ever had that covers my entire Cal King bed, and I don't have to fight with my boyfriend for covers at night. It's super warm and fluffy. The only thing I wish is that I could have gotten it in a different color, but I'll try to find a duvet cover this size.EDIT: I took off a star. I've had this comforter for about 5 months now and it's started coming apart at one of the seams. I don't have a duvet cover, so that may help with that problem, but it sucks that it's coming apart so quickly

I love this comforter. I've had it for a few months now, and it's been soft, fluffy, and warm (but not too warm). The duvet cover I meant to buy it for is still a project that I haven't finished, so it was still completely unprotected when my cat decided to cough up a hairball on my beautiful white, soft, fluffy comforter.It spot-cleaned wonderfully with just cool, damp paper towels to hold it over until I could get to the laundromat. I took it today to throw it in one of the larger front-loaders. This was the first time I'd washed it, and I was worried. That "duvet cover" I'm working on used to be a super expensive comforter from BB&B. The filling in it had gotten so clumped and terrible from washing that I ripped it all out and just saved the decorated cover.This comforter, however, didn't clump at all. After a single wash cycle and a trip to the dryer, it was even softer and fluffier that before, and there was not a single clumpy spot. There also wasn't a single stained spot, leading me to believe this material cleans very well too. It cost me less than $5 to take it to the laundromat, no professional cleaning required.

It's so fluffy! As soon as I got it I threw it in the dryer with some dryer sheets and when it came out it was fluffier than before. I threw it on my bed and my dog immediately jumped up on it and hasn't left since. He enjoys it and so do I.

This comforter is amazing! I was getting too warm with my down comforter but still wanted something soft, and this was the answer. It's very light, yet still provides enough warmth that I'm only using this with a flat sheet. It fit perfectly in my duvet cover and comes with loops on each corner and midway between the corners.

Excelente compra si lo consigues rebajado en menos de 700 pesos. Aclaraciones: 1)Es un duvet que eventualmente mientras lavas tus fundas, puedes usarlo solo y combinar sus dos tonos; si tus perros, gatos, niños o tú con zapatos suelen subirse a la cama, no te va a durar mucho al menos que lo cubras con la funda nórdica/de duvet la mayor parte del tiempo. 2)Es ligeramente caliente; para el clima de la CDMX es perfecto pero no hace maravillas por sí solo: en verano, ponle una funda de algodón de 300 hilos o más (hay unas baratas y bonitas acá en Amazon y con lo que ahorraste del duvet, haz la inversión) o de lino (muy caras pero fabulosas) y duerme en calzones o en pijama corta y ligera. Serás feliz. En invierno usa una funda nórdica de poliéster afelpada o de franela y duerme con pijama completa y empiernado con alguien más. Este duvet no es el problema, el problema es la cultura del mexicano en dormir con 2 cobijas de tigre y sábanas horrendas y tu pants viejo como pijama y almohadas que parecen anafres de duras y calientes. 3)Conviene ir a una lavandería y pedir el servicio de lavado de edredón donde lo pondrán en lavadoras frontales gigantes y no se dañará. No lo metas a la secadora de gas. Tu clásica tina de lavadora con "molino" central, lo dañará por completo y te lo advierten. 4) Quita las arrugas con una aparato de los que planchan sólo con vapor o mejor aún, rocíalo con un un spray de una mezcla de agua con un poco de suavizante libre enjuague hasta que quede húmedo ligeramente y extiende hasta que la arruga se difuminen y deja secar. Lograrás también que el olor de embalaje se minimice. 4)La mayoría de las fundas vienen solo con 4 puntos de amarre (las esquinas) aprovecha que éste es de los pocos que viene con 8 ojales y cose en tu funda por dentro 4 listones más. Lograrás que la tensión de los ojales se reparta y no se descosan o rompan fácilmente y se mantendrá en su lugar a pesar del movimiento.

Compré este artículo por la descripción tan interesante y prometedora. Lamentablemente, fue una total y profunda decepción. Los materiales, lucen “baratos” y no de muy buena calidad, no es de lino sino de poliester, no tiene plumas sino un relleno de fibra de poliester.Dice que es “Queen size” y es solo 3 centimetros más que un “matrimonial”, en fin...me sentí defraudado.No lo recomiendo, no para nada!Buen precio pero malisima calidad en todos los aspectos.

We live in BC on the west coast, so our winters are cold and our summers are hot. Our old duvet was down alternative and it needed to be replaced - we were nervous to order this one since it’s so cheap but we did since it’s got so many great reviews.I have alway wanted a duvet that hangs over the sides of the beds, and even with a California King duvet over a king bed, it was sooo short. The oversized king is AMAZING. Not only is it super plush but it hangs over the sides and makes your bed look so grand, like they do in advertisements. Huge win.The duvet is lightweight, and kept us warm last night. I can see how some people find it a bit light, but for the price, you can easily put a throw blanket over you for the night or get a quilt for on top of the bed. I don’t think we will have to purchase anything additional to make sure we are kept warm.The duvet is vacuum sealed in a bag, so when we took it out of the packaging it did smell heavily of plastic. We hung it over our banister for a day and the smell was completely gone.Overall this is an amazing duvet - super soft, pure white, fluffy, the perfect size for an advertisement-worthy bedroom, and the perfect medium to keep you not too hot and not too cold.

Excelente, muy calientito, está un poco grueso, está muy cómodo, agradable al tacto, mi cama es matrimonial y pedí este para que se mire algo parecido a las fotos de la publicación, en verdad que lo recomiendo.
