This was a great, affordable starter set. It looks really nice and seems durable enough. I wanted it as a starter set to teach my kids on. It's perfect for our purposes.

Very Nice set made very well . As good as a national toy store sells but less expensive and not as big. With a set like this you could pay a bit more. What i mean is it is good quality . To think about how it is sewn you would think the markers would catch on the points when sliding them. I had two boards made with cloth and that was never a problem. If you read a review about it it may have been faulty or someone reviewing because of thinking about it and not actually owning one. These colors are nice so I paid a few more dollars than the brown tone one on amazon. I am glad I did. I had one made like this that lasted me 10 years . I gave it away to use a wooden one but I like the look and feel of these a bit better. The wooden ones are not made with particle board and covered that is why they are more expensive. But this is a very good quality board and keeping it in the box it comes with Like a game is meant to be , after use will keep the cover new looking for a very long time.

I bought this Backgammon set along with a cribbage board for my son's 40th birthday. This is a beautiful set. I was totally surprised at how nice it was. My husband bought a set last year to replace the one we had for 30 years and he paid a lot more than I did for this one and this Backgammon set is so much nicer than the one he bought. The markings are the perfect size and they are very well stitched. The color is very nice and would be pleasing for both male and female. The dice are the right size and the makings on the dice are well made. The case is nicely patted. I can't say enough good things about this board. If you buy it you won't be disappointed!!
