So the strap is called a “ballroom strap” and it has to be buckled a certain way. I had to google it! It’s SO simple when you watch the video but it was absolutely a head scratcher at first. Loveeeee the shoes.

Ok, 40 years of buying shoes and I’ve never seen a buckle like this. Cannot figure out how to use it and I have an Econ degree. WTH? What a fail. These shoes are gorgeous. But now I have to take them to a shoe repair place to get them to work properly

These are amazing! The buckle is a ballroom strap. A quick Google search of how to buckle a ballroom strap will solve all your problems if you are struggling with the shoe.

I just don’t care for the ankle strap. The buckle isn’t too secure on my foot.Other than that, it’s a great shoe.

The buckle is weird. Not normal for sure. I got these for my Halloween costume and my feet are still numb 4 days later, it’s actually concerning. Not comfortable at all. The front part stretches so your foot starts to slide out of the front.

So the one good thing I can say about this shoe is that the color is absolutely gorgeous. It was exactly what I hoped for.However, the hook clasp is upside down. I have other shoes with this kind of fake ankle strap, and all of them have the hooks facing downwards. Not upwards. The ankle straps are not long, so trying to get them to hook properly, and upside down, is very difficult.The other immediate disappointment is the fur. I picked this listing because of the advertised appearance. Instead, what I got looks like a torn off piece of a feather boa glued into place. Total disappointment. I'm gonna have to replace the strap and the fur to get the appearance I truly wanted.
