Armitron Sport Men's 40/8177 Digital Chronograph Perforated Resin Strap Watch

This will be #4. I have had this watch starting 2008. I replace it every 3 years or so. I wear it all the time. I only take it off to tan. It is in water 40 hours a week and goes through rock climbing, the gym, and whatever else I throw at it. Since smart watches came out I have people asking me all the time if it is a smart watch. (It has that look I guess.) The band has tons of holes for ventilation and resizing. Usually, after a three year beating, the face is so scratched and the band is cracking I decide to replace it. Only once did I have the battery die on me. I hope they continue to make this watch because I will probably never want a different one.

My all time favorite "regular" watch.You can't beat this watch for the price.In total I have bought 4 of them. Lost two and the other I wore until I started chipping the finish on it (after 3 years).I love the look and am frequently asked if it is a smart watch. It is professional and sporty at the same time.Couple other great things about it:- The back light illuminates the numbers only rather than the entire screen making it much more easy to read in the dark- You have to hold the set key for a couple seconds so you can't accidentally go into changing the time like you can on other watches.- Strap is rugged and holds in place nicely.- Water resistant to 330 ft (over double the depth you can go with the basic PADI scuba diving license). I have taken it swimming/diving and none of them have ever fogged up on me.Overall fantastic watch, you will not regret your purchase.

I've been wearing this same exact type of watch for over 7 years now. This is my 3rd one. I'm the type of person that does everything in my watch so I need a reliable one. I shower in it, workout in it, the watch pretty much doesn't leave my wrist until it's worn out from me wearing it like that. So I'd expect that every couple of years I'd have to replace it which is fine by me. Once I take it off I can't remember to get it in the morning before work. So I just keep it on. I love the holes in the band because it prevents sweat from building up which cause the skin to get irritated. I really do love this watch.

This watch is average size, lower than normal profile (thickness), but still robust enough that it looks like it will hold up to some normal wear and tear. I purchased this watch to wear at work but didn't want a watch that was too big or full of too many bells and whistles. This watch is just what I need it to be and nothing more: it has a 12 or 24 hour clock, touch button "glow" that allows you to see the numbers in the dark. It also tells the date and I believe it has alarms, but I don't use watch alarms so I can't review that function. I like the width and comfort of the band.For the price, this is an excellent watch.

This is a great watch. I use it, I like it. It's dim but I can read it. Cannot read it across the room, no. It's a wrist watch not a clock. It does the job of being a wrist watch quite well. It enables me to tell the time at a glance. It's not hard to see in the sun, it's not hard to see in the dark. It lights up, understand?It's a nice watch, sexy and sleek. If you dig the design, which I do. the numbers are chunky, chunky numbers are easy for me to see. I value these things.

Needed a watch for my job, one that was waterproof, had digital time and date, a light, a strong wrist band, and a long life. So far this watch is perfect. Looks real nice, fits my small wrist and and doesn't stand out too much.My job entails ripping and opening a lot of thick cardboard boxes, most with tape, and also moving annoying metal parts and hoses. I didn't realize I should have looked for "scratch resistant" when looking for a watch lol... So far they're just tiny scratches I can still see through, but who knows how long it will last till I can't see the time anymore. Another this I should have looked for are buttons that don't change anything when accidently pressed, but I haven't experienced it so far. Overall very nice. Gave it minus 1 star because it doesn't make sense cardboard can scratch a watch screen.

Bought my first one four-five years ago, and it lasted me until I took it apart, lost a screw, and jumped off a rope swing into a creek, at which point it became waterlogged. However, I have worn it on rides at multiple water parks, and taken it camping, shooting and to the store. I would definitely reccomend this watch as inexpensive, classy, simple and rugged. Only downside is that the front window, being plastic, can take scratches and scuffs relatively easily.

Very nice watch. Attractive, fits well, has the "smartwatch" look and feel which is cool. Big display with a cool molded glass face, and a great mesh band which is extremely comfortable.The only downsides: it is a bit dim to read in normal conditions, and the date and second numerical displays positions should be swapped. I'm not crazy about the glossy red finish on the sides but I can live with that.

this watch looks way cooler than anything else in this price range. It works well, was shipped fasted & undamaged, o did I say that it looks great? OK so if you want my one complaint; the display takes some getting used to. Since it's different than most displays; it plays tricks on your eyes. The numbers do light up though so very easy to read at night. It would be nice if the daytime light in the numbers was a little better though, but overall, still an awesome watch for the price. I would gladly buy again.

El reloj es elegante y tiene buenos acabados. Sin embargo, es mucho más pequeño de lo que aparenta en la foto. Tiene el grosor de una pulsera grande. Ten eso en cuenta a la hora de comprarlo.

Worst watch ever can't not see half one number afters 2 week wearing it ...and light keep turning off in middle of ur work out when u try the time yourself every 5 sec u need to hit the light to see if ur 30 sec is over or not ...I'm a emr and I need my watch to time PEOPLE heart beat and u can't not see anything plus u can not push button under water so it's impossible to see ur diving time is over ...totally a waste of time and money

Lo compre para correr, es un reloj promedio a excelente precio, cronometro, timer, fecha, en ocasiones puede que no se vea muy claro la hora pero tiene muy buena aparencia estilo smart watch

Uso este reloj desde el 14 de septiembre 2016 no se a roto nada nunca me lo quito de la muñeca me baño y nado con el, mi única queja es la pantalla se raya con facilidad

Me llegó a tiempo, buen producto, pero la pantalla refleja más de lo que quisiera, pero en general está muy bien fabricado y se ve muy resistente.

Excellent watch for the price. Actually just purchased this watch again because the band broke and it was getting scratched up. A simple watch that serves its purpose. Sometimes people even think it's a "smart watch."

Good loking watch. Does everything it says it should do. It came already set.One downfall is the screen. It scratches way to easy. I am unable to read it in the daytime it is scratched so bad.

La calidad es buena y se ve bien construido, el único pero es quizás q la pantalla que aparenta ser mica y se raya con facilidad.
