Deflecto Vent Hood, 4", White (HS4W/48)

This arrived fast and fit perfectly. It is very good quality for the price.

My old one was broken, had worked fairly well (10+ years). Replaced with this. This one a little beefier. I know because I had trouble sliding it in place- thicker plastic all around. Lo and behold old one was also marked Deflecto. So this is one company which has actually improved its product over time. And you don't want the ones with mesh wire filter because they clog with lint fairly quickly.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:almost too heavy most fans cannot open the vents

This fit on my dryer pipe but it’s not really made for vinyl siding. They should include an adapter.

So glad manufacturer had printed/stamped their name on the old one! Easy to remove and replace with a new one

I bought this product to take out the flaps and put them in the old Vent Hood spot. The old flaps were dry rotting and falling apart. It was going to be a chore to take out the WHOLE vent out and replace it with this one. So I just took the flaps out of this and slid them into the old case and it works great.

It was exactly as advertised and fit perfectly as a replacement for a broken vent cover. It doesn’t come with new screws so had to reuse screws from old one. Otherwise it is a good replacement part.

Finally installed this the other day. Was a little nervous about whether I got the correct matching model here, but it was the exact replacement I needed.FYI, this is in direct sunlight year round, and the 1st one I had lasted 9 years before mother nature wore it out.
