Cool product
Purchased this to pair with my alexa for a smart home. It works great, has a reasonable price point and, when paired with hunches, saves money on the elctric bill

Great buy
I’ve had this for a while and just started using it. Wish I would’ve used it sooner. Being able to shut the light off without getting up with your exhausted is amazing. Hopefully it continues to work great.

Excellent Smart Light Bulbs
Updated Review (March 22, 2022):I originally left a review (seen below) which noted that the lights paired well with our Ring and Alexa devices and were very easy to sync to an automated on/off schedule, however, I really disliked the fact that the bulbs were flickering. Well, I must say, Ring has truly amazing customer service. Ryan from Ring Customer Service saw my review and contacted me to help troubleshoot and he also sent updated replacement bulbs which work perfectly. No more flickering!! We are thrilled and absolutely in love with our Ring light bulbs now that the issue is resolved. As a matter of fact, we plan to purchase more of these new bulbs for the rest of the house. Thanks very much Ring and Ryan for your excellent customer service and product! If you are reading this review and on the fence about purchasing these bulbs, I recommend them to you without reservation. Rest assured that Ring makes good quality products and even in the rare circumstances if some type of problem arises, Ring will stand by their product!!!Conclusion?-- Buy them!! :)Original Review:We love how well these connect to the Ring Bridge and they are easy to use with voice commands (on our echo show and our fire tablets). It is also easy to automatically turn them off/on according to a schedule of your choice through the Ring app. However the problem is that they constantly flicker. It's really annoying and disorienting. Not something we expected for bulbs at this price point. I don't know if the problem is the ring bridge or the bulbs. Apparently it's a pretty uncommon problem because most people don't seem to have any trouble. I only see twenty (20) other reviews that mention the flickering. Maybe the issue is that a small percentage of the ring bridges are defective? We've experienced the flickering from day 1. Nothing seems to improve it and we have excellent high speed internet, so the wifi signal is not the problem. We would absolutely love them and buy more if they didn't flicker so badly. It's a shame. We will search for another smart bulb alternative.

limited but works (and only) with Ring, pricey
it's one star off only because of price. smart bulbs with color and wifi exist at half price and less. that's just way it goes with proprietary I guess. so no wifi with these. you need a Ring alarm system along with a Smart Lighting bridge. ok, after that connectivity is easy and integration is great. the bulb doesn't have a motion sensor but you can link it with a camera or other Ring light that does (not an alarm sensor though). motion on can have up to a 5min auto off.a schedule is nice. "dusk to dawn" is an option. see, the cheaper non-Ring lights have variable white balance and color, that would be nice. this one is fixed at 3500K and a max of 800 lumens, efficient for an 8W white bulb.I'll enjoy a couple in my Ring system but also ordered a set of some other brand's wifi/color model to try 😎

Works okay. Working through kinks
Have had some issues with light staying on and have to reset up. Not sure if it’s the WiFi, Alexa or ring app but the light will lock on or off. I’m still satisfied with the product. Just mild frustration and me being new to ring.

Don't waste your money - bridge can't automatically reconnect if wi-fi goes down
I had an extended absence from home over the summer so I purchased several ring smart bulbs and outlets along with the required ring "bridge". Everything worked great for a week and I could turn the lights on and off with my phone from several thousand miles away from home. Then, the internet service in my home cut out temporarily as it is prone to do in my area (my service provider has intermittent internet outages). The service restored itself after about an hour and my modem/router reset. After the outage, my ring cameras and hard wired doorbell all came back online but my smart bulbs and outlets all stayed "offline" and the Ring Bridge would not automatically reconnect to my wi-fi. It showed "updating" in the Device Health page of the app and "no signal", "no network", "not connected". Apparently this piece of garbage was not designed to reset and automatically reconnect after an outage (which could occur during a temporary power outage - for example). It is a very common feature on almost ALL electronic devices that use wi-fi that they automatically reconnect to the network after a disconnection. Somehow, the GENIUSES that designed this cheap crap "bridge" didn't think to include this feature in their product.I called Ring customer service and I was told that I needed to do a hard reset of the device (turn off/turn on). I explained that I was not at home and asked how it could be done remotely (this hard reset information is available on their website and I didn't need to wait 15 minutes on hold to be given info I already had). They suggested that I have a family member or neighbor do it for me. I explained that I installed these devices because I had no one to watch my house while I was gone and that the primary purpose of using smart bulbs was a security measure precisely for when someone was NOT at home. So calling their Mumbay or New Dehli customer service was a waste of time. They should have included on their website the information regarding no remote reset. So now I have wasted a tone of money for some crap that doesn't work. I feel like I have been deceived and cheated.
