I have been using this maca powder for a few weeks and I am very happy with it. It is organic, natural, vegan and gelatinised, which means it is easier to digest and absorb. It has a mild nutty flavour and mixes well with water, milk, smoothies or porridge. I feel more energised, balanced and less stressed since I started taking it. It also helps with hormonal issues, mood swings and libido. This is probably one of the foulest things I have ever tasted, imagine chewing paracetamol and multi vitamin tablets and that's about 10% of how bad it tastes. I made the mistake of chucking a load of it on kefir yogurt thinking it would just be a bit malty, nearly vomited and wouldn't go near it, the smell alone made me gag. HOWEVER, thinking that I had to shift the 1kg bag I had bought I tried it out this time in a shake paired with cacao, agave, nut butter and hazelnut milk (couldn't be more pretentious), I added half a teaspoon of it (held my breath while doing so) and it was actually really nice. Having just a hint of it really paired well with the other flavours and I'll probably build it up to a full teaspoon one day. I would I it would go well in a strong flavoured protein shake too. Another reason for the 5 stars is that since having it every day for the last few weeks I have really felt my hormones begin to balance. I came off the pill earlier in the year and they were all over the shop but since I have started taking it my mood swings are almost non existent, I barely have any pms symptoms, I have less anxiety, I have more energy to train, I sleep better and my skin is clearer than it has been in years. Granted I pair it with a healthy and balanced diet so I'm sure it's not fully responsible for these changes, but I'm convinced it has played a part. My diet has always been consistently quite good and has changed little but since the introduction of this powder I've really noticed some changes. If you can find a way to have it daily in a way that doesn't make you vomit then I would highly recommend it, particularly for women (and I'm sure men too) who are feeling a bit hormonally imbalanced, I've also read that it helps with fertility but that you should check with a Dr first if you're pregnant or breast feeding.

I enjoy Maca. Many benefits. I like the malty flavour. This is the most flavoursome Maca root powder I have tried. I noticed the enhanced aroma when opening the pack. The colour was a shade darker than I was used to. And the flavour deeper and more complex. All this points to a fresh product. The energy boost is palpable. Excellent, I will buy this regularly. Highly recommended for Maca fans.

Having tried other brands, albeit slightly more expensive, I find this one ok for the money. It doesn't have the same flavour, not as rich and tasty, so I will probably go back to the other one I tried before, purely because of the flavour.

Appears to be excellent quality, despite it being the yellow variety of this root vegetable. Tastes good in my yoghurt and porridge. Too early to comment on its effectiveness as have only used it once or twice, I'm still in the process of finishing off some black maca root powder currently, which I usually take alongside my regular gym routine, so can't honestly say how good it is in terms of its potency. I will say its high quality judging from taste and flavour and the fact that it's loaded with some amazing nutrients, it's definitely a winner and a staple part of my diet.

Me ayuda a mantenerme más activo durante el día. --> Mejora en la fertilidad: Decidí tomar maca por recomendación para apoyar la fertilidad. Se siente ese efecto regulador en el cuerpo, mejorando la vitalidad general y libido. --> Ayuda mental: Gracias a su contenido natural de flavonoides, he sentido una mejora en mi estado de ánimo con más claridad mental. --> Producto natural: Se nota que es una maca pura y sin aditivos, con el sabor y el aroma intenso característico. A considerar: --> Difícil de disolver: Este es el único punto negativo real. Si la mezclas solo con una cuchara o en un vaso, se forman grumos fácilmente ya sea con agua caliente, natural o fría. 👉 Solución: uso un shaker y desde entonces no tengo ningún problema. También funciona bien al batirla con licuadora en smoothies o jugos. La maca será mi gran aliada para cuando me apetezca un café, tomarme una taza de maca y así evitar tomar café que no es beneficioso para el organismo.

Il fatto che sia gelatinizzata è un grande vantaggio: rende la maca più digeribile e con un sapore meno amaro rispetto ad altre polveri non gelatinizzate. La confezione è ben sigillata e il prodotto mantiene una consistenza fine e facile da miscelare in frullati, yogurt o succhi. Ho notato un miglioramento dell’energia durante la giornata, senza nervosismo o effetti collaterali.
