2021 Instant Happy Notes Boxed Calendar: 365 Reminders to Smile and Shine! (Happiness Daily Calendar, Inspirational Gift for Women, Desk Gift for Him)

Of all of the wonderful and some not-so-wonderful items we have purchased over the years, this is the only one that my entire family insisted upon that we write a review. Sadly, this "happy" calendar is filled with pages that read something that are supposed to motivational but fall flat such as "Pizza Thursday" or "Breathe." Take our word for it, if you're looking for an inspirational quote of the day, this is not it. If you're looking for a good laugh because someone actually assembled this as an inspirational, motivational calendar, this is for you.

This is my 7th year purchasing this desk calendar. In the past, I have loved it and even purchased a couple as gifts. I have even kept some of the sayings and posted them around the office or at home.I just received the calendar for 2022 and I am disapointed. They changed the plastic stand to a cardboard one and the paper changed from a nice thick matt page to a thin glossy cheap looking finish. The design is still the same and I am going to keep it because I do love the sayings, however, this year it looks cheap and I am really disapointed. I really hope that they go back to the old style for 2023. If not, I may have to look for a different calendar.

I’ve had the Happy Notes calendar since 2015, and I always enjoyed the simple “note” format (text and maybe a quick doodle.) This year has more artwork, the font is different, and the color scheme is more robust. It looks like a smaller version of “Today’s Going To Be A Great Day.”I (used to) enjoy the simplicity of this one - a quick note that it’s gonna be a good one, and go about your way. And that’s what made it so great...if you look at the calendar from 2018 and prior, it’s different in a good way.I flipped through them and it’s ok. The notes themselves are good, but without that stripped-down aesthetic, the message gets a bit lost.

Aug 2021 second review: decided to purchase the 2022 version, because this Instant Happy Notes page-a-day calendar has been an absolute delight to tear away & read each brand new day! Who doesn’t want to start their day with a smile? The colorful, upbeat words of encouragement have been enjoyed by myself, family & friends this year!! Let the positive vibes continue another year!! I definitely recommend you purchase this page-of-positivity-a-day!! Can’t wait for 01 Jan 2022 so I can continue the Instant Happy Notes!! ...Original 2020 review for 2021 calendar: A light & simple daily read. Never gets deep or intense. But with how 2020 has kept trying to take away our smiles and positive outlooks.... this page-a-day calendar is the type of HAPPY we need!! Its colorful daily pages also add to its viewers’ visual enjoyment! A completely family-friendly page-a-day calendar.

This is my third year purchasing this calendar. It sits in our kitchen and my entire family has enjoyed it. We often saved the pages, cut the date off of the bottom, and sent along the inspiring message to friends and family. I just opened mine to kick off 2022, and I am so disappointed. As another reviewer said, the paper weight is not the same. And even more disappointing is the stand- it is no longer a sturdy plastic one, but a cardboard one. It doesn't feel sturdy and I wonder if it will even last the year. My hope is they bring back the old design for subsequent years.

This is a real nice page-a-day calendar. I've gotten 5 different calendars to give as gifts. This one is a really nice one. I like that the pages are colorful and bright and fill almost the entire page. The pages appear to be attached / glued well to the top of the calendar (unlike a different calendar I bought). My only complaint is that the calendar was shipped in a bubble envelope so one corner of the box was dented. I got this to give as a gift. I'm not taking off any stars because it's not the fault of the calendar maker, and the calendar itself isn't dented. It's just the box, which will probably be tossed away after the receiver pulls the calendar out. But I'll still have to apologize that the box was dented in shipment.

I was looking for a calendar that would give me happiness or a happy thought everyday. This calendar does. it is very reassuring to have the calendar on a table next to my desk. Get this calendar if you want happinessin your world.

I don’t even need to get into what these past 2 pandemic years have been for everyone…. we all know. What I will say is that we could all use some simple, light-hearted, brightly colorful quotes, sayings & snippets to bring our smiles back– and this Happy Notes page-a-day calendar is definitely a great help in that regards!! Nothing too deep or heavy to ponder…. just brightly colorful rays of positivity for an entire year!! I highly recommend this page-a-day calendar to everyone in need of some basic good vibes!! Feel that smile percolating!!

It comes with quotes, simple positive reminders (such as "enjoy the little things" or "Treat yourself to that fancy coffee"), and some special date reminders (such as kindness day)Some of the quotes are great, really inspiring. And the good part is that you can remove the date and hang them on the fridge or wall, or use them to personalize letters, journals, notebooks, diaries, etc

Outer box came damaged. This was supposed to be a gift to someone to be more positive in life. I can’t give them a damaged box - That’s a bad start!

I have been buying these every year for many years for my daughter...and it never disappoints
