These are good ice packs. They seem to work well. I haven't come across any defective ones yet.

I needed these after my hernia operation. I needed ice packs and these were exactly what I needed. They maintained their temperature for my required amount of time, and they were "portable" enough to fit where I needed them. They didn't leak and were a good deal for the price I paid.

Works as they should, stays cold about 20 minutes. Perfect for on the go.

So this is a great brand and they make quality products. These packs are no different. They are a squeeze and pop, shake and apply type of ice pack. They were perfectly packed and none were burst on arrival. Thick plastic means no leaks. They say don't refreeze them because of frostbite, but I threw a few in the freezer and hit them with a digital thermometer. They were the same temp as all my refreezable type packs, but they remain fully liquid. My only dislike is that they have so much air in them that the cold water only goes with gravity. Imagine placing one on top of your knee while your leg is outstretched = works great! Now imagine placing them behind a shoulder blade while laying down face up. Cold water goes to the bottom of the pack and you have cold air instead of ice cold on your pain site = not so great. Bottom line, these were a lifesaver through a shoulder surgery and I would gladly use them again. Hope this helps you decide to purchase and hope you find relief for your pain!

Love these ice packs great to take with you on the go. No need for a cooler. They are perfect to put in your purse or first aid kit for quick use. They form easily around wrist and ankles while holding it. They have no smell, no mess. Thin but convenient

Sadly this product does not work at all. I did my research and have lots of wonderful experiences with McKesson, but unfortunately my entire box does not work. I follow the instructions exactly and the product does not even get remotely cold. It will change slightly colder and this will not last even five minutes. I am not sure if I just got a bad box or expired product but I am very sad to say that my product does not work.

Used these while flying after knee surgery and they were a lifesaver at airports and on the plane when my knee had to stay bent for long periods. The packs arrived perfectly sealed and activated fine every time. They do get properly cold — just not for very long (about 5 minutes max), so I went through quite a few during each flight. Still, they were way more convenient than trying to use a cup of ice or cold soda bottle on a plane. I’d wrap 2 over my knee with a crepe bandage and it definitely helped. Great for travel/emergency use, just wish they stayed cold longer.
