These are the best coals I have experienced. At first I was hesitant because the are not the easiest to light. It took me a few smokes to get the hang of it. Makes sense since they are dense, carbonized natural coconut shells. These are definitely not your quick lighting chemical filled artificial coals the average college kid at a frat party would love. This is more of a traditional natural coal. Great for a slow, deep and enjoyable social smoking session. No chemical smell, no after taste. Once I got the coals lit, I could not believe how long they last. The burn is clean, even and long lasting. For the equivalent weight, they easily last twice as long as the quality coals I am used to. Very little ash is left and I enjoyed a very smooth smoke. I didn't mind the bargain price either, definitely a product with lots of potential. Nice to know they aren’t cutting down trees to make them. Every little bit helps. I would enjoy seeing Blazing Coco offer different size coals such as solo "quick morning smokes" and offer different shapes as well. But as far as the coals, nothing beats real natural coconut burn - Hope to see this product available on Prime soon, for faster delivery.

I guess the addage you get what you pay for fits this product. I've tried several brands of Coconut Charcoals and all take no longer than 10 minutes, BUT because these ash so much it looks done in 15 minutes BUT when you go to use them in about 30 minutes (which all other brands Ive tried so far last about 60 minutes) they're already dead meaning not enough heat output cuz the charcoal is already black again so you have to interrupt a session to reheat these another 15 minutes. WORST part is these don't even produce good heat. Normally need 2 or 3 charcoal as I can't tolerate as much heat as most but for me to even get a good cloud I needed 5! Mayne I got a bad batch but I'm sure as heck never buying one to try again. I barely touch 25% of the coals these were such a bad experience...TLDR Comparison to most other Brands:Average FULLY COOKED time:Most Brands: 10 minutesThese: 30 Minutes!Average Session:Most Brands: 60-90 minutesThese: 30 minutes cuz you have to reheat the charcoal again!Average # of Coals for a decent Session:Most Brands: 2-3These: 5 due to low heat output and so Session isn't enjoyable.

Very bad smell and lot of ash

This product was a great buy...Good price, no smell and long lasting! Just have to break some of the coals apart not all the way cut through.

LOVE THESE COALS! Not too ashy, light up quick, and last a while. All for a great price too!!!

So at first I started to hated these. They took long to light. Lots of "ash" to knock off cuse after a bit you should drop it in the tray to knock off the excess But then going back quick light then using these in the same night. They really are so much better. I need 2 coals to get the bowl going with either. but with 2 quicks they'd have to be moved/shifted cuse of the burning/harshness. Im coughing. Wasting 1/2 bowl with quicks. These really do burn smooth. Can't stress that enough. Didn't realize until using both back to back. They are worth it.

Amazing charcoal. Burns much longer than regular briquettes without them being soaked in chemicals. Def will purchase again!

These coals are very messy. I don’t really recommend them unless you don’t mind a mess

The coals are a bit messy but they heat up quick and last long! Usually for an hour session, I use 3-4(3 on the bowl). Quite happy with em.
