An accurate tool to measure belt tension
The instructions are hard to understand. For example they don't explain which end goes on the belt and which way. ( Parallel or perpendicular? ) I was able to figure it out eventually. The various markings could be easier to see. Extra tension markings beyond 10 lbs coudl be useful. You are supposed to put the metal bar on the belt, perpendicular. Position the small o-ring on the skinny shaft to make the 10lbs mark on the shaft easier to see. Push the end w the rubber knobby until the body of the tool touches the small o-ring ( ie ther plunger is pressed into the body, until the body touches the small o-ring).The other ( big) o-ring on the body is just to make it easier to see how far the belt is depressed. Find some fixed mark/reference around the belt, e.g, a strait edge and align the big o-ring with that, then you can read the belt deflection relative to the big o-ring. The calculations some people explain sound more complicated than they need to be. Simply calculate your "supposed to be " tension in 64-th of an inch, and measure the deflection also in 64th of an inch. that way you do not need to calculate anything. You are simply comparing 2 like numbers.

Good Value
Exactly as described. Shipped quickly. Accurate readings. Good value.EDITED 2/27/25. I STRONGLY SUGGEST you ONLY USE THE SQUEEGEE AND NOT USE the BRUSH on a machine you want to keep scratch free. The bristles scratched the hood on my ride - just saw this today - first sunny day in a long time. HOPING it's confined to the wax I applied before Winter. Otherwise, I'll need to buff the hood - and any other paint that has micro-scratches.

Recommended with a caveot
Nicely made and consistent, but before using it, hold a known 10# weight on it. I balanced a 10# exercise plate on mine and it's about an 1/8" shy of the scribe mark. I believe the plate more, so I just adjust the o-ring to this point and it works fine.
