Love the vocal exercises
Love the vocal exercises! Someone recommended this CD to me, and he shared that he has been doing these vocal excercise for over two years. He is an accomplished musician who has excellent vocals. I find that my listening and vocals become more sensitive, with these excercises.

A "must have" for today's voice instructor.
Beautifully written, demonstrated and accompanied! A fantastic tool for teaching students who want to learn to sing riffs in any pop idiom and a great introduction to blues for those who are unfamiliar with the genre. A "must have" for today's voice instructor.

Best sing-a-long Blues and Scatting Lessons
Using this as part of a jazz vocal class. Have learned so much already on both the blues and scatting. Can't wait to continue the learning.

Blues for jazz singers.
Exploring the Blues has a lot of good stuff in it, but...The scat exercises drive me nuts. The scat exercises are tongue twisters and hard to follow. Besides, I doubt that Muddy Waters and Robert Johnson ever did much scatting. This book is more like blues for jazz singers.

Comprehensive guide
my singing teacher recommended this, and it’s a great teaching aid. I thought it would come with CDs, but you access the audio via their web site, which is actually much easier, as you can control the play on the computer screen. Really excellent

Klasse!

Excellent Book of Vocal Blues !
Great Book with very clear cut instructions. Deals with blues in a standard manner . There are many improvisation techniques which can even guide you beyond the scope of this book. I am glad that I bought it. So if you are into jazz, blues, harmony then just go for it without any further delay .
