BerrocoVintage Dk 21191 Blue Moon

I love Berrocco Vintage DK yarn! I ordered the DK yarn in two colors that I wanted by mistake - I wanted just the Berrocco Vintage Yarn for an Afghan project I'm working on - but I'm glad I did! I'm using the DK yarn right now for another project and I just love it. I love the Sky Blue color I'm using and I love the quality and weight of this yarn.

My yarn was more an orchid purple tone pink nothing like the roses pink in the picture

I just made the Knit Purl Hunter lace sampler shawl. I didn't want to buy the recommended silk, linen, ? and found this yarn - same weight and size. Maybe not the same drape as the silk, linen, but it is wonderful and turned out great. It has over 1000 yards. I washed and blocked it - the yarn looks fabulous. Can't wait to use it this fall and winter. Try it, you'll like it.

This yarn was a nice color and texture. However, it came braided--with smaller yarn tying parts of the entire skein together. I couldn't for the life of me keep it from tangling. I am not a very experienced crocheter, but had a friend help me who is--it took us a few hours to untangle. I was much more careful with the second skein, and still spent about 2 hours this am trying to untangle it--finally had to cut it. I'm considering scrapping the project altogether and trying a different yarn. Most yarn i buy is in 1 big ball--not sure why this was so different?

I love Berocco Vintage yarn. Have made many sweaters out of it. Even though it has a lot of acrylic, the wool keeps it a quality and affordable yarn.

Most important to know about this yarn: it is not 0.5 pound for skein like in description.it is only 100 gr per skein. I bought three of them but instead of 1.5 pound I got only 300gr. For this price I could buy the better yarn.Yarn is soft and good to make dresses.
