Ridiculous format even for children
Just as Helen Keller needed help to readsome young readers who find standard texts difficultmay be able , with the help of thecartoons to understand the story no doubt ...but as other readers have said the cartoonsare more confusing than helpful

Not a fan...don’t get unless your kid likes comic books
We’re not a huge fan of this. I guess I missed the fact that it’s actually a giant comic book and not a regular reader. My daughter needs to do research for a report for school and I was hoping this would help but she’s having a hard time reading it because it’s in comic book style and is confusing.

Well done
liked it a lot . The first pages engage you right away, as it draws reader into Helen's sightless, soundless world . Glad to offer it to children. Cursive in some pages.

Confusing
This book didn’t seem to be formatted for kindle books, at least using an iPad. Parts of the words or page were cut off. It was difficult to follow.

My daughter took to this book quickly, loving the 'cartoon' illustrations. What ever it takes to get them excited about reading, I am all for!

All members of our family from ages 10 to 50 have enjoyed this book. And we have recommended it to many friends, who have also liked it, and passed it on to yet other friends and family members. Very highly recommended.

Spectacular!
I ordered this figuring that it was something I could share with my seven year old. It delivers. The story is relatable and cleanly told, but it has true narrative depth for a lifetime comics reader such as myself. I haven't finished it yet, but I am enjoying it greatly.

aimable handicap
On apprend à travers des passages dessinés à comprendre ce que peut éprouver une personne sourde et muette, et il fallait réussir à le faire. Et la relation entre le professeur et l'élève est riche d'enseignement. Intelligent et intéressant.
