Do you have a dog? Of course you do- so you know that no leash is "chew-proof". This is my second leash from this company- the first was chewed through when our dog was left bound and unattended; I cut out the damage, sewed the remainder, and had used it for the last 3 years without complaint, reinforcing the joints with electrical tape. On a recent outing, the clasp got caught in a park bench, the thumb lever snapping off when struck repeatedly to free it; while it still worked, opening and closing the clasp became a chore- ergo, the replacement. Ours is the day-glow lime color- easy to see at night. No complaints, would purchase again.

I bought this to match my dog's harness and collar and it matches perfectly. I like the rope style better than the flat ribbon style for ease of control. The handle is super comfortable and the ring for clipping the doggie bag dispenser is convenient. It seems sturdy but only time will tell.

I love this leash! It's the best leash I've ever had for my dog. I love the padded loop for the handle. My dog likes to pull when leashed and the padding helps protect my hand. Cooper doesn't seem to want to chew on this leash like he did his flat leashes. This is definitely my favorite leash and I think I'll order another one to keep in my car.

I got the red leash and it is very visible with the color and the reflective stripes. It was heavier than my last leash so it took a little getting used to, but it is very comfortable to hold and the hand grip is thick. Good upgrade after my old one started to fray.

I haven't bought a leash for my dog in such a long time, and I knew that it was about time to get him a new one. I had a similar one to this, but I noticed that the buckles were different. This time, the buckles are plastic, which is much better because I had one with a gummy texture and my dog would always bite it, so I'm glad that they changed it to hard plastic. I did encounter it coming off when my dog pulled on the leash too hard, but I put it back on no problem! I will say that I did enjoy the comfortability of the leash when walking my dog, which is nice! I highly recommend this to every dog owner!

It is very comfortable and has give in it when I run with my husky. I live in a very hot climate so the handle tends to make my hand sweat. I am very happy with the leash.

I ordered this to match my dogs collar, and particularly because of the handle. Why my dog is small he is very mighty and literally pulls my arm constantly. This leash with it padded handle makes it much easier to walk. Your small and mighty or your big and brute puppies.

I have a pit lab mix puppy! Training him to walk on a leash but he tugs a lot when he sees other dogs, and he also tries to chew on his leash when he doesn’t get his way. This rope is thick and durable and I am able to wind it up on my hand without discomfort. The padding on the handle is nice as well.

My teenage Bull Lurcher occasionally starts mouthing and pulling on the lead if he gets frustrated.It only lasts for a couple of seconds but he has teeth like a guillotine!Previously leads have been damaged in seconds. I got fed up replacing the same brand.So, I did a bit of research and BAAPET had a good name for more durable leads.He's grabbed onto it a few times and not left a mark on it. I'm not saying it's chew proof, I'm sure he could destroy it if left unchecked. Bulls pride themselves in destroying the indestructible.But while you're training your dog not to chew on the lead, by distraction with treats or whatever? This is up to the job imo.Its well made, I can't see any shoddy workmanship or cheap inferior parts.The rope is thick but flexible and as I say, has been between his back teeth and come out unscathed.The clip is big and robust with a good strong spring, first thing that I checked.Handle is comfortable, sleeved with soft padding.Joins look well secure and fixed with hard plastic guards.I chose orange to compliment his dark Brindle coat. It's loud! But I like it.Update. I've bought 2 more while at a cheaper price. If I don't need them I'll pass them on. I have faith in this lead.
