Great for protecting medical patches in the water.
I rely heavily on these to cover my medication patch when bathing or swimming. Been using them for years. Price always varies. Great product. Use on clean skin. Let it be on your skin for 5-10 mins before getting wet and youre all good!

Fantastic Product
I couldn't be happier that I found this source for these patches. They seem like a godsend to me, and cost 1/5th what I was paying locally. They work Extremely Well for covering Fentanyl patches, and both keep them from falling off, and from irritating my skin. Before starting to use the Tegaderm films my skin would become very inflamed, and itch like crazy. Not to mention that sometimes the Fentanyl patches would come off, which is about the WORST THING that could happen. Now, they stay on, they don't irritate, and they leave no residue! The only drawback is that the heat of Summer sometimes causes a minor rash to develop under the edges of the Tegaderm, but that's a minor problem considering all the good they do. Overall, very satisfied!

Been buying these for over 7 yrs. They were great for covering a sensor and making it waterproof. Amazon has the best prices.

my new tattoo aftercare technique
im approaching 100 hours of tattoos, so i have had tried my fair share of healing methods over the past 20 years. this is a game changer! it keeps the tattoo covered, clean and protected for that first week. i could even wear socks and shoes after getting my feet done, and could wear pants and sit after getting my whole butt tattooed! do not put this one immediately after getting the tattoo. if you do, your tattoo will seep and you will get bubbles of multi-colored goo under the bandage, which looks gross and leaks. what i do is leave the saran wrap the tattooers put on when he was finished. i leave that on overnight. the next morning, take that off and hop in the shower. the goal here is about 5 minutes under the hottest water you can handle. start luke warm and gradually increase the temp. this will open up your pores and help the tattoo seep out the rest of the goo. then wash gently with some Dr. Bronners soap. next, go immediately to the coldest water in your faucet and run under that for 5 mins. this is the toughest part, depending on the location of your tattoo (back or chest suck, gotta get your whole body in there!) this basically closes your pores back up and seals it up. optional step after pat drying off: use some neosporin cream (not ointment). i have a medially compromised immune system, so i do this step. then, cover the tattoo in these bandages. the smaller pieces are easier to put on, especially since they keep the "window frame." make sure you overhang the edges of the tattoo by 1" (the closer the edge is to the tattoo, the bandage will start to peel up easier). overlap pieces by the same amount. i like to partially stretch out the skin, if possible, before sticking this stuff on. if you dont, and have tattoos on, say, your lats or butt, areas of skin that stretch a lot when you move and you move a lot, the bandage will not be very comfortable when you need to lift your arm or sit. i leave this one bandage on for 5-7 days straight. then i get in the shower and spend 45 minutes slowly peeling this off. its kinda freaky to do! you will then have a perfect copy of your tattoo on the inside of the peeled off bandage - at first i was worried i had pulled out the ink, but thats just a super thin scab. use lotion for the next couple weeks and you wont have any scabs and your tattoo will be bright AF.

📍Good stuff!
This product worked superbly as a second skin while I was recovering from road rash. It kept bacteria and dirt out while keeping the wound moist while it healed, minimizing scarring. And no scabs....Amazing! The one negative would be that it didn't really adhere to the skin that well, although it came off really easy and painlessly when needed.

Best for keeping wounds or sensors dry and clean.
My husband uses these patches to cover his diabetes sensor. It works well to keep the sensor dry for each week. Easy to apply!

These are made by 3M and since I am a retiree of the company I know these products and how well they are made and they did not disappoint. They are the perfect bandage for knee surgery so if you are contemplating surgery do yourself a big favour and buy these not any off brands.

I use Tegaderm both to protect my skin from allergic reaction to adhesives and to cover my sensor site. Tegaderm has proven 100% effective to protect against allergic reactions and about 75% effective in protecting my sensor site.

I ordered Tegaderm 1626 and received the smaller 1624. This won’t work for the purpose I need and you’re saying no returns? This is not the product I ordered!
