On Top of the World (Pedro)

I really like that the 'hero' in this book is latino. As a teacher of 1st grade students with a high ESL population, it's great to find interesting characters the children can relate to. I'm looking forward sharing this 'new-to-us' series with my students. It's also nice to have a female character with her own series attached to this character.
