Wonderful collection of the Witcher books.
I bought this "The Witcher" book set as a present for my partner. He wanted to get a full set of the books as he loved the TV series as well as the Witcher games he has played on PlayStation.I was a bit hesitant to buy it on Amazon as I saw some of these book sets arrived with the red "Netflix" sign on the cover which my partner didn't want.Luckily, the books arrived well-packaged in a box (quite heavy!). In perfect condition, sealed in cellophane. No Netflix sign either! My partner was very happy and so was I to see a big smile on his face.Since then he has read some of the books and enjoyed them very much.He told me the story follows the tv show closely but it's not entirely same. It has more interesting details and is a pleasure to read. Now I'm tempted to read the books myself.I believe this set can make a wonderful present to someone who is a fan of the Witcher. Or just treat yourself to this lovely collection!

Essential for fans of the games / fantasy
I’m a Witcher 3 addict, having played the game through several times. However, I only read through the short stories and novels after this.Little did I know what I was missing.Absolutely unputdownable stories in their own right, and essential for any fans of the games. I had already read ‘The Last Wish’ and ‘Blood of Elves’, so when I bought this complete collection for Kindle, I started with ‘Sword of Destiny’ as it technically precedes ‘Blood of Elves’. I then re-read ‘BoE’ and haven’t been able to stop reading until I have literally just finished ‘Seasons of Storms’.By the Prophet Lebioda, get writing the next novel, Mr Sapkowski!

Some pages not printed properly.
The books came perfectly packaged and undamaged but whilst reading though the first book I've come across multiple pages that haven't been printed properly. The story itself is amazing so far and I'm enjoying the read, but it's a shame the book is not made with good quality.I have not checked to see if the other books have similar problems, but I hope not.The red netflix sticker at the front isn't a sticker and is just part of the cover and looks horrible, but I recommend buying stickers for the Witcher books off Etsy or eBay to cover them up nicely if anyone else is bothered by look of it.

Love these books
I have them on kindle already but decided to purchase the paperbacks. No issue with the stories or the books themselves, which although intense, are great story telling. But on arrival the outer book packaging was damaged on 3/4 corners which is a shame

Fantastic box set
Great box set which has all the books from the Witcher saga. I wanted to read them after watching the Netflix show and this set was the best price for all the books. The set came in a proper box and I like the new designed covers. Some people may not like the (relatively small) “NOW ON NETFLIX” red badge which is not removable and is part of the artwork but I don’t mind (I’d rather this than the show cover which I’ve seen in other stores) and ultimately the cover doesn’t change the stories within. Typeface and size of font is easy to read and the stories themselves are fantastic. Will definitely recommend reading them to other people who like me can’t get enough after watching the new show!

Well written, a must for fans of the games
Geralt may be nothing more than a bit part player in his own Netflix series, playing second fiddle to the women in the series but in the books, like in the games he is the show runner. He is The White Wolf, Gwynbleidd, The Butcher of Blaviken, Ravix of Fourhorn, The Butcher of White Orchard, the one and only Geralt of Rivia. There is no denying who is the star of this show.Very well written, interesting locations and monsters, all encountered for a specific reason rather than just to have a fight, or to show Geralts toxic masculinity as in the TV series.Geralts procession through his world is seemingly haphazard, without and ultimate goal but that is somewhat deceiving, without spoilers it’s hard to describe. The games and TV series do take some poetic licenses but a lot of the content is lifted from the books so players of the games and watchers of the TV series will recognise what they’re reading; if only to be surprised that the story doesn’t play out exactly how they expect.

Excellent.
Excellent series. So much better than the tv series, but also far more complex.
