When I opened the package, from China, the smell was overwhelming. It smelled like camphor, but I'm not sure if it was just a strong pine smell. I put it outside to air out and it smells better, but I won't use it in my lovebirds cage until the smell is all gone. I understand it's natural wood, but birds lungs are very sensitive and if I put it in her cage, she can't get away from the smell if it's dangerous. So, I will use it on her play stand, if I use it at all. Very disappointed.

These are ok and would have been a great perch for my budgies however not gonna let them use it since they have MOLD. Also, product/seller did not mention that it ships directly from China so it took 2 weeks to arrive. You get what you pay for...

If you have a love bird,well this makes a perfect plate set next to their food cup,bird will use this round stand to crack seeds on.i notices my love bird having trouble ,was dropping the sun flower seeds,as these birds do not hold foods with their claws they cant,so i put this in and with in 1 hour my bird was using it like a plate,,,nice and it is small but perfect for what im using it for.they will also perch on it,only for small birds,or big if using for a seed cracking plate.

It's pretty to look at and easy to use and looks nice in my bird's cage. Unfortunately he won't use it - but birds can be finicky - so not the fault of the product.

Item arrived from China, rather than a stateside store. The wood is moldy in the center of the disc. There was a strong odor upon opening. I will not risk my birds' health with these. Had I known they were Chinese, I would never have ordered due to pollution problems over there.

Great little platform for my budgies to stand on. They don't make very many flat surfaces for them to stand on, only perches, and I'm glad to have something flat for them to stretch their feet on.

Awww, my budgies love these little round perches. I use them as snack plates with rolled oats on one and chopped veggies on the other. They look so cute eating from them. They are easy to take off for a wash and easy to attach for their next snack.

It wasn't that it was a horrible item. It was just really too small for our sweetie. They wouldn't let me refund this item but it really is understandable cause it didn't cost much. I really wish it would have work cause it would be nice for a smaller bird.
