Zojibands are a reliable and safe way to get some routine and core strength and stretch exercises in.I was given a band at a discount in return for an honest review, which is what I will be giving.I have had a torn rotator cuff for several months now and am limited to what I can do in a single direction with my left arm. I have some exercise bands that I use, with handles, and they work fine. The difference in this band and those is that this band is circular, just like a giant rubber band.Yes the smell is just like a rubber band as well, but stronger, which is the only reason for the minus one star and should be no reflection on the quality of the item, and the smell does disapate after a bit.I can't imagine using the blue band, as the black band is roughly 1" wide and about 1/16-1/8 of an inch thick. It makes for a solid stretch exercise for my left shoulder, that is a bit tough still, but not so bad that it over works the joint. I think I would have been more at ease with the red, but the black was recommended and it does provide me with a good stretch without injruy.I like that the band has no handles and is basically a large rubber band. I thought I would not like that much, but it is better. I can get in so many more unique positions and it works my hands more than a simple handle would.I will possibly order the red one now, so that I can have something to focus the left should on specifically, but will continue to use the black for curls and other pushing and pulling exercises.Note, I do not have any doubts about the durability of this band and have not thought once it would break, as I have thought about some cheaper single bands with handles.

these bands are amazing. I purchased one for my son who could not perform one pull-up. using these assistance bands he began to slowly work his way up and now can perform up to 5 unassisted. he will alternate between doing pull-ups unassisted then over to using the assistance bands when his can no longer pull his weight up.the bands a re made of whats seems like good quality rubber material. my son weights 200 lbs and this green one is just right to ensure his muscles are getting a workout while giving him the support needed to pull his weight up. I can tell this band will last a lifetime.I highly recommend these. the price is the best on Amazon and the shipping was fast too.

Not much to write about the band itself... It's a rubber band.A nice thing is that their site has a helpful chart that lets you know which color of band (which produce different amount of tension) is recommended for you based on the type of exercises you'll be using it for (pull-ups or mobility exercises) and your body weight.If you need a band like this, either to do physical therapy or mobility exercises... or to use as a pull-up assist, I can definitely recommend these.I might actually recommend these over some other pull-up assist devices (one of which I own), because it's so lightweight and portable (being just a big rubber band). No complaints here.

Based on the quiz I filled out, to determine what color band would work best for me, red was the best choice. I'm satisfied with what I received. It's like a huge and very durable rubber band! I want to exercise, but just don't have the desire to. This product allows me to use it while I'm doing my everyday activities, for example watching television and cooking. It's not an inconvenience to use because it's small enough you can take with you to other places and not a trouble at all. I am a 55-year-old woman who has never in her life been able to do a pull-up. Last month, the personal trainer with whom I've been working for a year included pull-ups in my monthly program for the first time. Despite her confidence in me, and her reassurances that pull-ups are very difficult for ALL women, I was extremely discouraged by the fact that, despite all of the progress I've made in terms of strength training over the past year, the handful of "pull-ups" I was able to do each session were really pathetic. She suggested I look into a pull-up assist band, so I looked on Amazon for a simple, inexpensive band that got good reviews, found the Zojiband, and ordered it. I have used it twice this past week in my workout. It seems strong, allaying my fears of breaking/snapping and possible injury, and allows me to do something that looks much more like a real chin-up, while giving me encouragement that I might someday be able to get my chin up above that bar even without the Zojiband!

I received a black band because every time I've started with the "least" resistant band, it becomes no challenge in a few sessions. This one seems just about perfect for me. I don't see me needing to add a lot of reps to my semi-regular routine any time soon, yet it isn't difficult to stretch this one until I feel that I'm working. It's long enough for me to start standing straight and yet small enough to easily pack into an overnight bag or even a larger purse/tote. I am very pleased with the ZojiFit Band in Black.
