Chilton Total Car Care Toyota Prius 2001-08 (Chilton's Total Car Care Repair Manuals)

If you've been using the cheap paperback Chilton's manuals for years as I have, it should come as no surprise that the quality of photographs is so poor. Still, it was worse than I expected.

Not much to say about this book other than it's the typical chilton manual. Good book, and has almost all the information you'd desire. The downfall for me is that it's almost identical (pictures, & writing!) to the haynes manual which I bought earlier... I picked up the chilton because I've had better experiences with them than haynes. It was a little disappointing to see a basic replica of the same book with a different name.

A good book, especially for someone like me who knows very little about cars, with lots of information that is hard to find elsewhere. My only beef with the book is that it is all black and white. There are lots and lots of pictures of every part from the car in this book and they are very helpful, but color would have been the icing on the cake.

Hubby was scared to work on the Prius. Needed wheel bearings changed so I got him this book for Xmas. Now he isn't afraid to fix anything that may need it

Seller did a great job. The book is okay but has a lot of generic information. For most service operations, you will still need to consult the internet but it is handy to have the reference in the car.

very thorough engine rebuild instructions, but thinner instructions for other more common tasks, like changing headlight bulbs (particularly tricky with priuses). still, id rather have it than not.

I bought this book to change battery of remote entry key to start with. Explanation in the book was not very clear to do this task. Then I looked at Youtube, there it is with DIY video, much easy to follow. So, my suggestion is if it is a simple problem, check online alternatives first. Book is nice to have for reference and for much advanced project,

This nifty little guide has helped save us money when we need to make a repair. While Youtube videos are extremely helpful, there is something about having a book with diagrams that is invaluable for understanding what is being taught. Will purchase for all future cars.
