Premutos: Der gefallene Engel (PREMUTOS, EL ÁNGEL CAÍDO, Spain Import, see details for languages)

This is a movie from famous German director Olaf Ittenbach made in 1997, a very cult classic horror full of bloody set pieces from start to finish, the movie itself is very low budget in story and acting etc very reminiscent to the early Peter Jackson days of bad taste and braindead which is not a bad thing when its made up for in gore blood and guts, the movie has everything you can think of in the way of gore and its all practical effects no CGI here and its all done very well and all created by the director, there is some serious talent gone into the making of this film making it a classic as far as im concerned, make sure you defiantly check this out if you're a fan of splatter horror, the DVD has some cool features too.

Listen if your into these types of films you will enjoy it. You wouldn't have found it otherwise. Low budget, bad acting etc. All the doe was spent on the gore fx. No CGI here, all live dummy's and make up etc. Heavily influenced by Peter Jacksons braindead. I didn't know the Germans had such a good sense of humour! Very tongue n cheek, good balance of humour and gore. Much like braindead although no where near the King of gore movies. The best of the movie comes in the last 30mins as with braindead. No spoilers here, just stick it on and have a right good laugh! Quality👌🏻

Two reviews on here aren't even reviews, one is a question and the other is a French guy saying that he can't play the disc. (The Unearthed blu ray is a U.S. release, so it's likely region locked)This is easily Olaf Ittenbach's best film. It's hilarious and non stop. The blood doesn't stop flowing, and it never slows down enough for the viewer to get bored. Definitely for fans of Dead Alive, Bad Taste and The Evil Dead.An incredible low budget German Splatter flick!

Para mi, una película de culto goremaníaco. Esta edición de Unearthed es la más completa hasta la fecha, con muchas escenas nuevas, nueva introducción y bien restaurada. Se echa de menos el doblaje español, sobretodo el de Walter pero puedo vivir sin él. El tramo final es aún más gore y divertido que nunca, simplemente maravilloso. Creo que es un film superior a Burning Moon y posiblemente uno de los mejores de Ittenbach, se nota que le puso cariño en todo a pesar del bajo presupuesto. Indispensable.

Finally, a version of Premutos with the original german language and english subs for the american audience. While I love my VHS copy, the english dub is silly and is not a very good translation. THIS is what us USA Olaf fans have been waiting for. This is a fantastic release that everyone who loves Olaf's movies needs to buy ASAP!
