I treated the multiple spots, seriously probably 50 from the splash, let it sit, the shorts were still wet I never allowed them to dry, I kept them in a ziplock bag. Anyways checked on them a couple days later and VOILA! Every single trace of the rust stains were gone. The shorts are white and perfect again, good as new. If you're looking for a rust remover, this stuff works, even on white. Ralphie would give it an A+++++++++++++++++++
