Better then I have expected
Better then I have expected. Original designers of this knife knew what they are doing. 200mm version is perfect size multitask utility blade about 3mm in the spine with full flat grind with very tiny secondary bevel. That makes edge and the tip of the blade very thin, but blade is relatively soft (up to 54, according to the manufacturer; compare to Moras with it 59 for high carbon blades) and tough and it not likely to break. Anyway, been slip-joint folder it's a "slicer". It's well made with no any blade play It arrived razor sharp. I can understand why it was so popular in restive French territories and was considered a "war material" (can easy be "converted" to functional fix blade on a spot). Back spring is strong to be functional, but not excessively strong. As blade is full flat grind, it's easy to hold and open without any additional assistance (like nail-pick or alike). If needed, can be open one-handed.In short: it's functional inexpensive high quality knife. It's history and beauty of simple design even gives it unexpected "display quality".For the seller: KnifeCountryUSA can be recommended with no reservations so far.

This is well made as you would expect and very sharp out of the box. Looks very nice and if you like these knives I highly recommend.

Another classic knife
Bought the Le Tiki to go with my Douk Douk. Artwork is wonderful. Easy to sharpen and get sharp, slim for pocket carry, nice size. No locking mechanism, but pretty stiff mechanism. If you like knives, you should have one of these to go along with your classic Opinel and Black Cat folders.

This knife for the money is horrible. The handle is all pitted and the blade is extremely difficult to unfold. Not very sharp and very cheap looking. I would never advise anyone to buy this model knife. It looks like a mashed tin can handle. Just terrible! Not even polished handle just pitted.

Great knife for adults who like being outdoors.
I give these as stocking stuffers to friends who do things outdoors. Super reliable practically indestructible little folding knife. Be careful who you give one to, there are no safeties.
