A: Yes, it is the typical 3 prong XLR microphone cord configuration.

**Q: Do not need phaton Power ?**
A: No. Dynamic mics do not need phantom. Condensers do.

**Q: Is this suitable for djs**
A: It would seem so, haven't specifically used it as such

**Q: Has anyone attempted to use this live or studio on hi hat, snare drum or toms? It has such a low profile and would be able to sneak into a drum kit.**
A: I have only used it as a TalkBack mic on a Beringer mixer.

I use this for outdoor events when needed. Sound quality is not bad and has a good dynamic range for speech. It tends to stay in the position you set it in and wind doesn't seem to affect it
