Another delightful book from Master Rick L Wing.... Never heard of Siu Wan Kuen: Small Circular Fist? You can actually learn this classic Northern style set from this book! For those of us that practice Siu Wan Kuen: Small Circular Fist... this book is a lot of fun to read.... Sifu WIng's explanations and take on the set makes one revisit this simple but rich form and contemplate it a little deeper... his background notes on the history of the form are very interesting and helpful when trying to understand the variation in versions of this form that one sees about... and Sifu WIng's commentaries on self defense applications.... as always.... are as entertaining as they are insightful... this book is as much fun to read as it is fun to actually perform Siu Wan Kuen.... Thank-you Sifu Wing for another gem ,another treasure, and for preserving this precious knowledge, of the old masters... in book form...
