Q: Is the pull switch cover metal or plastic?

The outer cover is hard chrome plated steel, mounted over a plastic cup for electrical insulation purposes, The switch wire terminal plate is also plastic.

Q: Can I replace the white cord that exits the pull switch with the ball chain?

NO, NEVER attempt to mount the chain inside the pull switch cover. The white cord fitted as standard to all pull switches electrically insulates the switching mechanism from the metal chain. Remember: Electricity can kill.

Q: Is the Crystal Ball fob made of glass?

No, it is made from facet-moulded acrylic.

Q: Is the White Ball plastic or ceramic?

It is a premium fob made from a glazed ceramic.

Q: Is the pull switch silent in use?

Although this switch is quieter than some, it's not silent and makes a medium click sound when switching on/off — this tends to be dampened when mounted on the ceiling.
