I used the QuietWalk Laminate and Floating Wood Flooring Underlayment with Attached Vapor Barrier under my hardwood flooring, which was installed over a plywood tongue-and-groove subfloor. It was a fantastic choice! The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free. The attached vapor barrier provided peace of mind by offering excellent moisture protection, especially in areas prone to humidity. What impressed me most was the sound reduction – it noticeably minimized noise, making the flooring feel solid and quiet underfoot. So thin and provides lots of sound proofing. Helped deal with an uneven floor where we pulled up old tile. I didn’t have to do as intense prep to even out floor because this filled in gaps and prevented movement. Would recommend their entire line.

We went to our local home depot store to get something that we could lay under out wood tiles and after gey convinced us that we needed to buy two types of sheets a moisture barrier and a cushion sheet. We ended up paying an arm and leg for our first guest bedroom. For our second guest bedroom we decided to look around for a cheaper way and came across this item. Two in one, not only is this a moisture barrier but a cushion. We biught it and laid it on our concrete floor and it has adhesive to facilitate this hideous process and makes it smoother for you to lay your wood tiles on top of it. I highly recommend and so does my husband. Will be buying for my next floor project. P. S. We saved money and time. Highly recommend

I used on my second floor under the laminate floor. It reduces noise but if your wife is walking around with heels it’s not going to stifle the clonking. I highly recommend this product

Worked well, bought for our new flooring and definitely makes the floor "softer". Cushions the floor and does provide some noise cancelation and was easy to install.

I'm not a professional floor installer and have only used underlayment while doing remodels in my own homes. However, I have used foam underlayment in the past as a means to save a little money and still lessen the noise issues commonly associated with hardwood or laminate flooring. My wife and I bought our last house and I wanted to use the best underlayment I could find, as this would be the last time I intended on ever doing this type of remodel work. I did some research and decided on this stuff...and I'm not disappointed. Wow, this stuff is everything it says it would be. The difference in the ability of this stuff to dampen the sound while walking across the floor is incomparable. I'm so glad I decided on this and the price difference is not incredible. Installation was very simple, which made up for any cost difference between this and foam underlayment. I won't use anything else if I ever decide to install more flooring in my home.
