It takes two to four weeks. Boswellia was recommended by my medical doctor.
I also take SAM-e and Bromelain. Basically, I don’t experience joint pain or swelling.

Yes, I find that frustrating, too! It seems to depend on the vendor to supply this kind of info, which is often woefully lacking in products sold on Amazon. What I sometimes do is find the same product on another website which does supply the info, such as iherb or vitaminlife, and occasionally I'll find a better price, too. But with some products it's hard to know whether they are exactly the same. With the Himalaya Boswellia, the ingredients are "Indian franincense-oleo-gum-resin -250 mg; (Boswellia serrata Roxb.), standardized extract (60% Boswellic acids - 150 mg)" and "Other ingredients: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (Capsule), Dicalcium phosphate, Microcrystalline cellulose, Magnesium stearate, Colloidal silicon dioxide, Ethyl cellulose". Because of the way the primary ingredients are laid out, I'm not sure exactly what the mg amounts refer to--but you get the idea. I have found this product to be very helpful for pain due to inflamed joints and have recommended it to friends who also like it and now take it regularly. There are also boswellia-curcumin combination products that are just as if not more helpful, but I don't tolerate curcumin.
