Anchovies Sauce of Cetara Colatura Mr. Moris Made in Italy Pouring Filtering Alici (100ml)

This surprisingly brought me and my pasta recipes to a higher level with perfection. Sprinkling one to two teaspoonfuls of this sauce per portion made mackerel spaghetti, seafood spaghetti, etc. scrumptious, leaving a mild aftertaste of the sea. It seemed as if I jumped from 90 out of 100 points over to 120 points!!

I was curious to sample the ancient romans equivalent of 'ketchup' - it seems that they used Garum on everything. This sauce gives a big hit of umami on any seafood pasta and is not too fishy. I've added a visit to Cetara to my bucket list and I'll pick up more bottles in person.

The cork is a bit hard to remove, but the content is delicious

I absolutely love this Pouring of Anchovies. Great to put a tablespoon in pasta sauce (adjust the salt though accordingly) or mixed in with pizza topping, soups, casseroles etc...

Definitely adds that little bit of something to a recipe so an excellent addition to one's ingredient store. Arrived quickly. Very satisfied.

For those with a taste for fish and savoury dishes, this is a rare find. I read about the garum sauce beloved by ancient Romans and looked for the modern equivalent. This does magic when added to any fish or sea food.

Used this as a substitute for Garum in a roman dish as per the recommendation of tasting history. The savory flavor is hard to describe but it was certainly good. The only downside to this product is the price.
