Bought this to keep my door open when I was moving so the movers wouldn’t have to worry about my door slamming over and over and over. It’s such a simple little product but it worked so well.

Not worth even $1.Too flimsy and delicate m,wish I could have returned it the first day.

This hinge door stop works as intended: slide it over the top hinge and it keeps the door wide-open. I have it installed because I have a one year old girl who LOVES to slam doors. I ALWAYS forget I have it installed, so it always comes as a surprise when I try to close the door behind me with absolutely no avail.The one major issue I have with this door stop is: if there is a lot of activity (if you're attempting to close the door against the will of this hinge door stopper), there is a greater risk of popping the hinge from the door frame. This is bad for me, since my baby girl is on a mission to try and close the door despite the door stopper being installed - and since I can't seem to remember that it's installed when I try to close the door behind me. I can already see hairline stress cracks forming by the hinge, but I can't tell the cracks are in the paint or wood. Either way, this hinge door stopper is only good for temporary use, or for doors that tend to close on their own. This is not intended for regular use with a household of willful children and/or forgetful adults.

This was super easy to install and it works like a charm. I am using it on a door in my laundry room that would always slam closed if there was a cross breeze. I tried a floor-based door stopper but inevitably that would get dislodged or simply slide on the floor when pushed by the door in a strong wind cross breeze. With this hinge-based stopper, the door literally cannot swing closed because it is stopped at the hinge.

It's made of plastic but not thick enough to make me confident it's going to last long. In fact, when I first put it on the door & let the door swing close by itself, this thing gave out a creak like it hurt a little.It did hold the door open at a 90° angle from the frame so it was wide enough for me to get through with my hands full of groceries or what not. But I have a feeling that one day I'll forget it's on there & I'll accidentally smash it into smithereens, like Thanos cracking open the Tesseract. I'll update the review when that happens.But so far so good. Simple, easy to use. Convenient. I had one of those swing down door stoppers on the bottom of the door but it doesn't stay in the up position anymore. Still, I wish this was made of metal, brass or something (this door thingy, not the Tesseract. Although... maybe that would have changed the MCU timeline...).

I bought this to keep my 2 year old from shutting the door. First day up it broke. If you’re in the same boat as me don’t buy this product. If a 2 year old can break this don’t waste your money

So simple it's hurts but it works. So far our toddler hasn't been able to push the door enough for it to break, yet.

I like the design and it easily slips into hinge of door. This product is for very light duty applications such as a closet door, interior house or apt. door, etc. This door stop is definitely not suitable for heavy duty type doors. It is made of quite breakable plastic but a stronger type of plastic such as polycarbonate might work.
