I have had the 3g trakimo for just over 2 years now, and have had no problems with the device to date, from my experience it's accuracy is within 10 meters.I have hard wired into my vanSo have never had battery issues. The only down fall is the customer service, nothing is easyThey email you after your first free year of subscription, but when you try to renew it's a proper song and dance. Why they can not just email a payment link is beyond me.So overall an excellent peace of kit, with a trade off poor customer interface.

I purchased this and didn't connect. Trackimo have said these are out of date as they are 3g hence why people have difficulty in using them. Amazon should have taken these off sale.

My two 3G models have stopped loging. I got this from their support desk:-------------------------------------We are sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with your device.The SIM card type you have in your device is no longer supported, thus the device is faulty and will no longer work.We have stopped your package renewal, the plan is now canceled.----------------------------------------Amazon should withdraw this version. The 4G is OK.

Totally not 3g but the older 2g model

I attached the tracker to my drone to give me piece of mind should I lose contact with it and it lands out of sight I've checked it for accuracy It initially gives inaccurate position as it tracks by phone masts It then tells you it is searching for more accurate data. It switches to GPS and gives a position with an accuracy of about 20 metres.

Works well acurate and reliable. The only downfall is i spoke with the company before purchasing and they told me it will track via gps when there is limited or no cell services that part is not true.** update **My trackamo unit stopped working i was having a hard time to reach customer service so i reached out to North Link even though im past the 30 day amazon return policy they are still willing to go above and beyond for the customer awesome customer service!!

Device is supposed to connect to cell towers and determine it's location (since the tower locations are fixed and known....it can then pretend to be a GPS device) So after charging I turned it on and left it out in the open to find itself.....that's supposed to take up to 15 minutes. After an hour it hadn't connected to the cell tower that I can see from my house. Later I put it on the dashboard of my car and drove around town. It finally gave me 4 location points but then got lost. The next day I drove into Tulsa Oklahoma, it didn't find one tower along the whole 50 mile route, but did connect one time mid way along the way back into town. Believe me you can see lots of nice juicy cell towers along that highway it should have connected to. Bottom line....as a tracking device this thing is worthless.....what's the use in having a tracking device that can't find itself. Returning item to Amazon

Just another POS item manufactured in China that dies after less than one year. Item seemed to work reasonably well for 10 months then it died. The main issue here isn't really that it died but the customer service rabbit hole I have gone down with first the manufacturer and then the vendor to try to get a replacement or some sort of credit for the remaining portion of the service. After several weeks now I have no working device, and to add the the pain they just auto-billed me for another year of service (on the non working device). Basically a $150.00 paperweight that keeps extracting money from my wallet. Spend you money elsewhere.

After a long search I came across trackimo and it is the easiest tracking device ever. I wired it to my car to keep it charged all the time and I have been using for 3 months with no issue whatsoever. Thanks Trackimo.
