LeapFrog LeapReader Book: Leap and The Lost Dinosaur (Works with Tag)

My son received a LeapReader pen as a gift two Christmas' ago. He loved using it but it was very hard to find books to use with it in stores, so we are thrilled that were able to find several books on Amazon. My son will use the pen to read the words then he loves to play the games that are on each page and loves to find all the sounds attached to the different objects on the pages. He is not big into dinosaurs, but really enjoys this book, so I think if your children loves dinos then they will really love this book since it is a good blend of a fictional story with scientific facts.

Definitely a great gift for a kid who loves dinosaurs! The book is filled with great facts on all things Dino and the cards are fun to play with as well. My kids worked on this book for a while and enjoyed exploring with the leapfrog pen.(Leapfrog pen not included) - fyi

The book is OK, but note that it is not a replacement for "T-Rex's Mighty Roar" book, which is only compatible with the older model Tag Reader device. This is unfortunate since "T-Rex's Mighty Roar" is one of my son's favorites. I really wish LeapFrog would provide downloads for more of the older titles.

My son is 5 1/2 years old and he loves to read. He is really interested in dinosaurs. We added this to his collection of leap frog books that his PAPA gave him for Christmas.

My kids really enjoy this particular LeapReader book.The LeapReader technology is awesome. But some of the books are just terribly boring, and don't motivate kids nearly enough.LeapFrog needs some better stories, or at least exciting content like this Dinosaur book, to keep kids interested.With some better books, kids will be encouraged to read more.In short, this is one of the better ones. The story isn't great, but kids never get enough of dinosaurs! :)

It works well on the leapfrog leapreader despite some peoples comments - you must touch the book, then plugin to upload to the leapreader via the app etc. So it has to download before you can use. Very interactive. good extra content.

Do not like the Leapfrog case, but the leap reader pen far outperforms the case.

My son has recently become all about dinosaurs which is awesome because I loved them too when I was a kid I was even able to find some of my old books for him but this book is great he love to play with it and is learning alot from this book I can't believe the words that he can pronounce at just four years old
