Lovely clock and keeps excellent time. Bought as a present and my daughter was thrilled.

Nice clock - too many nuances
Expected the movement to be something other than a cheap basic quartz box which requires a battery. Which obviously wasn't included!The led lights are what require power from a wall socket.The power cable is way too short to reach legal UK height requirements, especially if the outlet isn't directly under where you intend on mounting the clock. Either that or mount it below 6ft, which might not be ideal for everyone.Oh and the led lights have a remote, for which of course again, no batteries included.Would have loved to have given it more than 2*'s as it is marvelous to look at. Just that the inconveniences really do matter.
