I love this storage container on wheels. We have a large dog who eats a lot! We were having to lug the huge bag of kibble around the kitchen so I thought something on wheels would be beneficial and this fit the bill. It is very secure so if we leave it out of the pantry our dog cannot get into it. I love that it has wheels and I can roll it to our pet's bowl station without issue. It is easy to keep clean and keeps our large 50 lb bag of dog food, and treats on top of the bag off the floor and closed, airtight so that the kibble stays fresh to the last crumb. I am about to purchase another two bins on wheels one for my tennis and flip shoes for the closet and one for my bathroom closet, to store extra soap other toiletries. I like to buy in bulk and this container will give me more space under my bathroom cabinet and I can roll it into my bathroom closet, no problems. Great product, it is sturdy and easy to move around, no matter what you put in it.

We have smaller versions of the 50# model and they are terrible. Flimsy, weak, lid falls off -etc. However, the 50# model (this review) is much better. Too, the lid does not fall off once its vertical. You can let it fall right over the back and it stays hinged. If you look at the product image which shows a slightly translucent view of dog-food near the top but still a few inches down, this is what it really looked like for us when we put 50# of small kibble in it. NOTE: If you have 50# of large chunk dog food, you MAY have a different experience. Keep in mind, that size/shape may affect how well your product fits in the bin. For us, its working awesome. Also rolls across the carpet quite easily considering the weight.

Seems like a pretty good bin. Looks like the right size to hold 50 lbs of dog food. Hinges are a little flimsy but I am hoping this last a good while.

We purchased this product from Amazon as a Prime member so we know that we are protected as far as if there is a problem within 30 days and also quick and free shipping. This container broke a wheel off after owning it for less than two months. Now, I don't expect Amazon to warranty the product...they are the middle man (the seller ONLY). I therefore called the company and spoke to a lady in customer service named Iris (wonder if she was the owner). When I informed her that this container broke so soon after purchase, she wanted NOTHING to do with any kind of fixing it or replacing it. In fact, she took no responsibility as the manufacturer for the damaged and broken container. I have no grudge against this company (Iris) other than they DO NOT stand behind what they sell...we are talking about a plastic container that cost me $30...and they don't offer any warranty. We didn't misuse the container...the fact that the wheels broke off that soon is a testament to the quality of this product. There are other choices out there and I will replace my dog's food container with one of those...I would NOT buy any products from Iris in the future. If you are looking for a tough container to hold dog food or anything else, I advise you to do the same. Again, less than two months...NO WARRANTY...BUYER BEWARE !!! If you read a lot of other reviews here on this product, you will see a lot of others who have had their containers arrive with broken or cracked lids or had their wheels break off and when contacting Iris for help had NO RESPONSE as far as fixing it or taking care of a defective flimsy container that they sell...In my opinion, Amazon shouldn't even carry there products online as there are too many problems with the quality of this container...in fact, it's not only this model but other ones from Iris as well...if you read some of the reviews on their other containers sold here on Amazon

It is exactly what I needed. I had been storing my 40 pound bag of dry dog food in its own bag with the top folded over and a very large clip holding it closed. While that worked well enough to keep my dog out of the bag it did not work to keep a mouse from eating a hole in the bottom of one this winter when it got chilly and they decided to come into my house to be warm and dry, so I looked for something that would be mouse proof and sturdy, and could an entire 40 lb bag of kibble fresh & airtight and this serves all those purposes. The hinged lid with the airtight snap down works easily & perfectly. I don’t have to bend very far to get to the kibble until we get to the very bottom and there are four sturdy casters that allow me to move it around easily if needed. On top of everything it was very reasonably priced. It has everything going for it and I’m glad I finally have one.

This item holds a large bag of dog and more. It rolls nicely in and out of the closet that I keep it in and the lid closes tightly to keep the dog food fresh.

This item was very poorly packed in a lightweight cardboard box without anything to cushion the product. It was sent via parcel post and there was no "fragile" warning. The hinge on one side was shattered. It is smaller than I expected. I am keeping it only because it would be too difficult to return it, and I want to free up some room in my pantry. It is certainly my not worth the price I paid.
